Refrigeration equipment; truck cab and off road air conditioning

Job Requirements:

  • Completed Wells Fargo check
  • Literate and legible hand writing
  • Dependable and reliable transportation to and from work
  • Flexible work schedule-able to work all hours of operation, including overtime and call outs
  • One (1) year technical school training or equivalent one (1) year experience
  • EPA certified in Section 608 and 609 Type I and II, (completed within six (6) months)
  • Hand tools and service equipment as outlined in tool list as applicable per location. (Fifty percent (50%) owned at date of hire, completed within six (6) months) Tool inventory list must be on file and updated annually.
  • Performance evaluations must be consistently above average and show steady improvement in areas where needed.
  • Minimum one (1) year of service or equivalent experience
  • Certified in one (1) area (within six (6) months of service)

Pay scale commensurate with experience.

Detail of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and maintains high standards in record keeping practices, i.e. work order information, job descriptions, tracking of time on work orders, proper parts and supplies charged on work order
  • Able to administrate customer invoicing for after hours and call out purposes (within 90 days)
  • Demonstrates and understands proper factory warranty procedures (within90 days)
  • Demonstrates and maintains good housekeeping skills-keeps work area and shop clean
  • Demonstrates ability to follow guidance and direction; works well with other people
  • Demonstrates ability to carry out job assignments and special duties with steady to moderate supervision
  • Able to demonstrate and understand the use of diagnostics, maintenance, installation, operation and parts manuals (within 90 days)
  • Able to demonstrate and show understanding and compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations and requirements and safety standards and policies set forth by the company
  • Able to demonstrate and understand the proper use of recovery and recycling equipment (within 30 days)
  • Demonstrates and understands the proper use of recommended leak test procedures (within 30 days)
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to meet or exceed labor time standards and maintain efficiency of 90% or better
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to maintain 85% or better productivity
  • Demonstrates and understands the proper use of electrical diagrams and schematics (within 30 days)
  • Demonstrates and understands the proper use of recommended evacuation procedures (within 30 days)
  • Demonstrates and understands the proper use of torches for cutting, soldering, brazing, and welding (within 90 days)
  • Demonstrates and understands the proper installation, operation, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of truck cab and off-road air conditioning (within 6 months)
  • Demonstrates and understands the proper installation, operation, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of all makes and models of transport refrigeration equipment (within 6 month)
  • Able to demonstrate and understand all related job functions pertaining to the various systems in transport refrigeration equipment, including, but not limited to:
  • Refrigeration system
  • Electrical system AC and DC
  • Temperature control system
  • Microprocessor system
  • Gasoline and diesel engines
  • Minor overhaul of gasoline and diesel engines
  • Major compressor rebuilding
  • Printed circuit board repair
  • Fabrication and installation of equipment
  • Charging system
  • Starting system
  • Fuel system
  • Drive system
  • Structural system
  • Cycle Sentry system
  • Multi-temp system
  • Training and/or experience in the following areas will be considered beneficial to our employees in the advancement of their careers
