Information for new members
Centenary Park Tennis Club was formed in 1967. We are a community-based club committed to the development of tennis at Junior and Senior level both at a competition and social level.
Features of our club include:
5 well maintained en te car courts (4 under lights).
Well appointed clubhouse with licensed bar and BBQ
TCVA advanced Coach.
Competition midweek and weekends for Seniors
Competition Saturday morning for Juniors
Social mixed night Tennis on Wednesdays and Ladies night comp on Tuesdays

COMPETITION TIMETABLE
All members are encouraged to participate in the competitions available (detailed below) .Our juniors are affiliated with Moorabbin Junior Tennis Association and seniors are affiliated with Waverley District Tennis Association.
Seniors:Saturdayafternoon Men’s, Ladies and Mixed rubbers interclub summer and winter

COURT AVAILIBILTY
The following table details the court availability for use of members.
MONDAY
/All day. Coaching on 2 courts from 3pm until 8pm
TUESDAY
/Comp and social in the morning over 3 courts. Ladies night competition from 7.30 pm over all courts
Ladies comp over 2 courts until 3pmWEDNESDAY
/Men’s comp over 2 courts until 1pm
Social Mixed night Tennis from 7.15 pm.THURSDAY
/All Day
FRIDAY
/All Day
SATURDAY
/Junior comp in the morning and senior comp in the afternoon. Courts in use all day.
SUNDAY
/All day with the exception of the club championships held April/May each year
VISITORS
Visitors are welcome at the club as invited guests of members subject to payment of a $6.00 fee. A member may only invite the same guest 4 times in a membership year as the club encourages frequent visitor’s to become members.
NIGHT TENNIS
The two night competitions held are Ladies only intraclub on Tuesday nights and Mixed Social on Wednesday nights.
Members wishing to use the lights will have to notify a committee member as the court key does not open the light box and a fee of $10 per hour per court is charged as well as any visitor fee as per above. The lights must be turned off by 10.30 pm each night.
CLUBHOUSE
Members may hire out the clubhouse for private functions subject to agreement of the hiring policy a copy of which can be obtained at the club. The rate charged for hire will vary depending on what facilities of the club are used.
ATTIRE AND ETIQUETTE
Correct tennis attire is to be worn at all times. Tennis shoes only to be worn-not ripple soled shoes. All courts are to be bagged and watered before and after use. When all courts are in use and people are waiting to play please ensure that no singles matches are played and playing time is restricted to 30 mins.
COACH
Our club coaching is conducted by IQ Tennis™ Pty Ltd under the guidance of Craig Miller. Craig is a Tennis Australia registered Elite coach (highest level) with many years’ of experience and his professional IQ Tennis dedicated team bring a wealth of knowledge and skills in their coaching roles. FEE STRUCTURE
The following table details the different types of membership and fees applicable. The club’s membership year runs from the 1st of July to the 30th of June the following year and fees are payable by the 1st of July

Explanation of the categories and pro rata fees are as follows
- FAMILY membership consists of 2 adults and all children up to and including 17 years old as at the 1st of July of the current membership year.
- SENIOR membership is anyone over the age of 17.
- STUDENT membership is for full time students only.
- JUNIOR membership is anyone aged between 6 and 17 as at 1stJuly of the

- SOCIALmembership is for anyone without playing rights.Annual fee $15.
- MAINTENECE LEVY is payable by family and senior members andwill not be charged in a subsequent year if you have attended 1 working bee throughout the previous calendar year
- TENNIS VIC REGISTRATION FEEis payable by all playing members and is included in your membership fee. Registration provides Personal Accident Insurance for tennis related activities.
- PRO RATA FEES apply to people who join the club during the membership year. Calculate pro rata fee from the table above.
- ie: Joindate 1st Jan until 31 Mar, full year fee of $220 becomes a pro rata fee of $110.
- GATE CODE There is a code on the gate to court 1 which will be given to new members once they have paid their fees.
