CIRCULAR
No.1981/APSHCL/MIS/2007 / Dt.22.05.2007
Sub: Web site of the AP State Housing Corporation – maintenance of MIS module at Mandal Level – instructions – Reg.
APSHCL has designed its own website which will be available from 25th May 2007 on the URL The website has several modules namely:
  1. Management Information System (MIS) – which allows Mandal level updating of data regarding physical progress of the programme. This would do away with the system of sending reports time and again by the districts.
  2. Cement Monitoring System (CMS) – which allows monitoring of cement supplies at mandal level.
  3. Complaint Redressal System (CRS) – which would register and monitor complaints from anywhere in the State in association with Parishkaram (Toll Free No: 1100) going to be operated through e-seva.
2. Unveiling of the website would reduce the need for vexatious reporting that Districts are being subjected to now. It would however demand a strict discipline from the district level, division and mandal level functionaries in maintaining the system. The purpose of this circular is to give a check list of do’s and don’ts at each level.
3.Maintenance of MIS module: MIS module is to be updated daily at the mandal level.
For this purpose, all mandalincharges should ensure the following:
  1. Establish a system of reporting from the village level – to intimate daily if any beneficiaries have crossed a stage.
  2. Establish access to internet. If there is a laptop, take internet connection from any available service providers. If there is no laptop, you should use the public access internet facilities for this purpose.
  3. Take your username and password from the DM’s office. You are responsible for keeping it secret. You can change the password and use your own password for improved security.
  4. Log on to the system at 7 p.m. each day with your username and password, along with the updated information – Panchayat-wise.
  5. Go to ‘Physical Progress’. Click on the ‘Update’ function. You will have the drop-down menu of District, Constituency, Panchayat and village. After selecting then required village, go to the respective boxes and make changes.
  6. Click on ‘Update’. The data would be automatically updated in the database.
  7. Repeat the same for the ‘computerization’, ‘cement,’ and ‘cash disbursement’ details.
  8. After updating information, log out.
  1. All Dy EEs are made responsible in establishing the system in their mandals. They should:
  2. Arrange for computer connectivity and internet access to mandalincharges.
  3. They have to train the mandalincharges in operating this module.
  4. Verify the reporting systems from village so that accuracy of report and daily availability is ensured.
  5. If any mandal is not able to update from their level, ensure that on every Saturday, the information in respect of such mandals is entered in his presence.
  6. Solve any other issue that may arise in implementing the system.
5. The following Time Schedule is prescribed for scrupulous implementation:
  • Dy EEs understading the system and seeking clarifications if any – before 26th May 2007.
  • Training for mandalincharges in Division level – 28th May
  • Establishing systems for data flow and connectivity - 29th – 31st May
  • Daily updating of the data to begin: 1st June 2007.
