Area’s premier information fair for the Deaf and hard of hearing community comes to Northern Virginia Community College.

Fairfax, VA – The Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (NVRC), the area’s leading non-profit for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened and deafblind, is proud to host Celebrate Communication 2017. Sponsored by the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Virginia Relay, the information fair will be held from 10am – 2pm on Saturday, April 22 at the Northern Virginia Community College Ernest Center Gymnasium in Annandale.

  • Celebrate Communication 2017 provides opportunities for the deaf community to connect with community groups, national and state organizations, government services and relay and interpreting services.
  • Celebrate Communication 2017 is free for the public and offers information, exhibits and technologies for better communication for people with hearing loss.

More than 40 exhibitors will be on site to demonstrate hearing assistive technologies, offer information about hearing aids and cochlear implants, relay and interpreting services, professional services and programs with hearing assistive dogs.

The Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (NVRC) is the area’s leading non-profit for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, and deafblind.
