Co-Ownership Agreement
It is agreed between Cedar Creek Labradors/Christie McIntire and ______to enter a Co-Ownership agreement for the amount of $ ______. Cedar Creek Labradors will be included in any major decisions (other than routine care) regarding the dog ______until the age of 6 years old. During this time period Cedar Creek Labradors will have rights to using the dog for breeding purposes up to _____ successful times per year. During each breeding session Cedar Creek Labradors may need the dog for a period of 1 day to 1 week and is the responsibility of the co-owner ______to transport the dog to Cedar Creek Labradors and pick up upon end of breeding period. I will in my best attempts try to work with your schedule and give notice however it can not always be guaranteed due to a male needing to be present during very specific times in a breeding cycle. If at any time the dog is not made available for needed breeding the contract is void. If death/any injuries which prohibit breeding use occur the Co-Owner is responsible for paying the valued amount of the dog of $______. The dog is not permitted to change ownership at any time and must be kept current on vaccinations, rabies, dewormings and care.(proof must be provided when requested). Failure to do sure will void contact. Breeding outside of Cedar Creek Labradors is not permitted unless approved in writing by myself in advance. No altering or neutering may take place until 6 years of age. Cedar Creek Labradors will hold ownership of any AKC documentation/Registration. Any health testing/clearances required for breeding will be paid at the expense of Cedar Creek Labradors however the co-owner must transport the dog to have him available. Cedar Creek Labradors may request photos/videos for showing to potential families of puppies and may need to make arrangements to be present for those. Upon the date of ______the dog will be 6 years old and the Co-Ownership for breeding purposes will be final. Any change in address/contact info must be provided and kept current at ALL times. Upon signing of the contract both parties agree to the terms above. If at any time contract is not fulfilled or void Cedar Creek Labradors may regain full ownership of the dog with no reimbursement of expenses. Any legal issues must be handled in Sussex County Court, Delaware.
