Facility / LSU Natatorium, site of the 1985 National Sports Festival, home of LSU Swimming and Diving, home of Tiger Aquatics. Indoor 50-meter pool of constant depth of 7 feet with non-turbulent lane lines, Paragon starting blocks, Daktronics Timing System with electronic multimedia digital Scoreboard. A 6 or 8 lane 25-yard pool open for warm-up & warm-down during each session.
Timing System / Daktronics: Primary timing system will be electronic touchpads. Secondary timing system will be electronic push buttons with stopwatch backups.
Meet Format / Timed Finals as listed in Sessions sections.
All event heats will be swum slowest to fastest.
Psych sheet will be posted at www.swimtaq.com on or before July 15, 2013.
Heats may be combined at the Referee’s decision. Please notify Meet Administration of any advance scratches.

Entry Limit / Each swimmer is limited to 2 individual entries plus 2 relays. The order of events shall not be changed but at the discretion of meet management, breaks may be added. Each team is limited to an A and B relay per relay event.
The Psych Sheet will be posted online, www.swimtaq.com, on the Monday before the meet.
Entry Information / All entries must be submitted in Short Course Yards times using Hy-tek’s Team Manager software.
Electronic entry files shall be sent by email. A hard copy of entries shall be submitted in addition to electronic file in order to guarantee entry.
A Meet Entry Form must also be submitted with payment (last page of this document).
A complete team roster shall be submitted with entries (including swimmers that are not participating in the City Meet) in order to assist with determining divisions for team scoring. See Team Scoring section.
Entry Fees / All entry fees must be paid prior to the start of the meet.

Eligibility / To participate in the meet, a swimmer must have participated in at least one league meet for the same team participating for in the Championship meet.
INSURANCE:
All teams MUST provide documentation of insurance by July 17th 2013(1st day of the meet). Failure to provide proper insurance documentation will result in the meet director’s discretion on whether or not to allow swimmers to swim in the meet. Insurance documentation should be provided to:

Age Determination:
Swimmer’s age is determined as of June 1st, 2013
A swimmer’s final Summer Swim League Championship meet shall be during the summer following graduation from high school.

Warm-ups / Safety is first priority.
EMS and lifeguards will be present while the meet is in session in case of emergency.
Deck Referees and Safety Marshals have complete authority over warm-up procedures at all times.
Warm-up times and lane usage will be assigned based on approximate number of entries per team per session.
Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session.
Team Warm-up Lane Assignments will be posted on our website, www.swimtaq.com, on the Monday before the meet and will be posted around the LSU Natatorium during the meet.
Lane Timers / EACH TEAM WILL NEED TIMERS! LANE TIMING ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED ON MONDAY 25th, 2012.
Individual Event Scoring / Individual events will be scored:
20 – 17 – 16 – 15 – 14 – 13 – 12 – 11 – 9 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 for 1st – 16th place.
Relays will be scored double:
40 – 32 – 28 – 24 – 18 – 12 – 8 – 4 1st -8th place.
Team Scoring / For purposes of team scoring, meet director shall determine three team divisions after the entry deadline and before the start of the meet. Team size shall be determined by number of swimmers on each team’s roster turned in for the Championship Meet.

Awards / Individual event will be awarded: 1st – 8th medals,
Relay will be awarded: 1st – 3rd medals, 4th – 8th ribbons
Team: 1st – 3rd Trophy for each division
Al Robelot Team Quality Award: Team with highest number of points per swimmer in individual events only (number of points divided by number of swimmers entered in meet)
Meetings / Coaches: Wednesday, 4:30pm, Thursday & Friday as needed & will be announced.
Timers: 15 minutes before the start of each session if needed
Heat Sheets & Results / Meet programs (heat sheets) will be available for sale $5.00 per session.
Hy-tek Real Time results will be available throughout the meet online at www.swimtaq.com.
Final Results will be posted within 3 days after the conclusion of the meet.

Facility Rules / LSU permits NO taping to the walls of any kind. Banners may be hung from wood beams by string/rope.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE NATATORIUM.
Please note that all diving equipment present on deck is the property of LSU Swimming and Diving and is completely off limits to all meet participants.
Each team is responsible for cleaning up their area. Trash receptacles are provided.
There is absolutely NO parking in the grass field between the front of the Natatorium and Nicholson Drive. Parking is available by the tennis courts and in front of track field. If there is any question about where you may park please ask the meet administration.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS ON DECK.
Only meet officials are allowed inside the roped off areas next to the pool. Participant/spectator seats shall not be placed adjacent to the roped off areas in such manner that blocks walkways.
Concessions & Hospitality / Concessions will be provided by TAQ. Hospitality will be available to coaches and officials only.
