RCM WIPT Minutes
13 July 2011
1. The RCM WIPT met at 1230 at LMI in conference room MCC3. In attendance were Ken Bowie (Army) and Sean Olin (NAVAIR) (co-chairs), Ron Graffius (NAVSEA), Angela Anderson (USAF), Jim Gehris (L3 for USMC), Bill Berneski (CACI for NAVSEA), and Dave Cutter (LMI). On the phone was Mark Colley (TACOM).
2. Outreach. The RAM 4 conference has been replaced with a meeting hosted by the Society of Reliability Engineers, still in Huntsville. Timeframe is around 26 October. Sean has identified 2 volunteers to participate Ken has a demo for ASAP. All WIPT members are asked to consider appropriate RCM breakout topics, white-paper subjects, or demonstrations and forward inputs to Dave Cutter by 27 July. Greg Kilchenstein and Doug Felker are meeting on 02 August to discuss the CBM+/RCM role at the conference and team inputs would help shape that conversation.
3. Inputs for the CBM+ DoDI 4151.22 are requested by 20 July. One comment was to link the RCM DoDM, now that it’s official.
4. CLL030 was discussed and based on member feedback, it’s basically satisfactory as-is, with the minor inputs we reviewed. Most inputs were accepted and a final edit will be distributed. The revisions will be sent to DAU for incorporation.
5. Advanced training module – there was no need identified for a new course. Members were asked to review current DAU courses for the addition of a RCM reference. Also, any changes to the DAG or other DoD documents were solicited. Inputs requested by 13 August.
6. Nominations for new WIPT chairmanship - none have been received to date. Members were given the opportunity to reconsider.
7. All members were asked for other RCM related information to be shared/published. Links to Service sites, draft guidance, training schedules, etc.
8. Next WIPT meeting planned for late August for RCM workshop preparation.
