CBBC Online Challenge Show Needs You!

Kalel Productions are looking for budding vloggers, bubbly personalities and anyone who’s up for co-hosting their own online show to get in touch.

If you’re aged between 12 – 14 years and love creating your own content and following the latest challenges, or just know you have the right personality to present an online show, wewant to hear from you!

We’re looking for boys and girls from around the UK from all different backgrounds who can hold their own in front of a camera and are up for a challenge! You need to be able to communicate clearly, be entertaining, pick up new skills quickly and be interested in the latest trends.

To be considered you must fulfil the following application criteria:

• You must be aged between 12 and 14 years old on 2nd June 2017

• You must fully complete and get a parent / guardian to sign the application form and also send us a short video clip of yourself (up to 1 min max)

Filming will take place over 4 – 8 days, weekends between June – November 2017

Filling in the application form:

We need to find out details about you and why you think you’d be great to appear on the show. So fill out the application form and get your parent/guardian to sign the bottom of the form. Please remember to attach a photograph of yourself and also to send us your 1 min video clip.

1 min video clip:

We need you to send us in a clip of yourselfas part of your application. You can be as creative as you want! Show us your presenting skills, make us laugh, do a challenge or a trick, but please remember to stay safe and not attempt anything dangerous. It needs to be no more than a minute long.

  • If you want to send your application electronically, please ask your parent/guardian to email your completed form and photographto . Your 1 min video clip will need to be sent via the wetransfer website. Go to , add your file, and send to our email address above (you will also need to add your own email address).
  • If you would rather post your application, please send the completed application form, with photo, and your 1 min video clip on a memory stick (unfortunately we are unable to return memory sticks) to this address:

PARENTAL CONSENT FORM to the Parent or Guardian:

Your child would like to apply to co-present a CBBC online challenge show, which will see them engaging in various safe, fun challenges ina series of three minute clips.

The shows will be available on the CBBC iplayersummer / autumn 2017.

For the application to be considered your child must be aged between 12 and 14 years old on 2nd June2017 and we must receive a completed application form that has been signed by a parent / guardian. The forms should be returned as soon as possible for us to consider the application.

The applicants we wish to consider further for inclusion in the programme will then be contacted by a member of the production team. If you have not heard from us by Friday 9th Juneunfortunately that means your child has not been selected.

The closing date for applicants (form and clip) is midnight on Friday 2nd June 2017.

All information supplied in this application form will be treated as absolutely confidential and will only be seen by the production team. It will be stored securely and will be used only in relation to this production and will not be used for any other purpose without your permission.

Involvement in this programme is dependent on obtaining the necessary permissions or licence as required. Applicants must not be employees of, or close relatives of employees of the BBC. All applicants must be resident in the UK.
