Cats on Film – African Cat Encounter T+Cs
Terms and conditions for entry into the draw for a chance to wina double pass tor two adults for an African Cat Encounter ( at Werribee Open Range Zoo.

1. This competition is run by Wyndham City Council in the state of Victoria, Australia only.
2. By entering the competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions of entry (‘conditions’). If your entry does not comply with these conditions, it will not be valid for entry into the draw.
3. Entry is restricted to people who are aged 18 years or over. Wyndham City Council staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
4. One draw entry per person only.
5. To be eligible for the draw you must submit a cat video for the Cats on Film showcase for the Winter Street Party and follow the submission conditions. Entries will close at 5pm on Friday 15 June 2018.
7. Each valid entry during this time will automatically go into the draw to win a double pass for two adults for an African Cat Encounter (total value $110) valid until 30 December 2018.
8. The Competition winner will be drawn at 11am onWednesday20 June 2018 at the offices of Wyndham City Council – 45 Princes Highway, Werribee 3030 and the winner will be notified by email on the same day, with Wyndham City Council to provide the winner with collection details.
10. If a winner cannot be contacted by Wednesday 30 June 2018, Wyndham City Council may opt to conduct a redraw and the next valid entry drawn will be the winner.
11. Wyndham City Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
13. The Competition winner is responsible for complying with prize usage terms and expiry dates, including:
- Zoos Victoria may choose to cancel specific camp dates or encounters due to inclement weather, animal welfare issues or insufficient bookings. Whenever possible, guests will be notified in advance and dates re-scheduled, or full payment will be refunded.
- Enclosed shoes must be worn for all animal experiences.
- Due to animal behavioural issues, experiences may vary.
- All participants must agree to follow the keeper's instructions.
- A paying adult must accompany children under 16 years of age. If the encounter allows children under 8, these children require a ratio of 1 Adult to 1 Child. Children over 8 require a supervision ratio of 1 Adult to 2 Children (unless otherwise indicated).
- Parents or adult guardians must take responsibility for participating children at all times.
- Participants may be asked to leave the enclosure at any time during the encounters at the discretion of Zoo staff.
- Photos can only be used for personal purposes. The publication, distribution, or reproduction of these photographs for commercial or promotional purposes is prohibited. For further information about commercial photography, contact the Zoo's Communications Department on (03) 9731 9624.
- Participants with open wound/s will not be able to participate in the Wade with the Platypus experience due to the risk of infection for both animals and participant.
Cancellation policy
- In the event that you cancel your animal encounter the following cancellation applies:
- Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to event date will be given a full refund.
- Cancellations between 14 and 30 days prior to the event date incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Bookings cancelled within 14 days of the event date incur a 100% cancellation fee.
14. Wyndham City Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, invalid or corrupt entries.
