Catch-up Premium
Catch-up Premium is additional funding to be used by schools to provide literacy and numeracy catch-up support for Year 7 pupils. It will enable those pupils that did not achieve level 4 in reading and/or mathematics at Key Stage 2 to be given the opportunity to catch up as quickly as possible.
We were allocated £4,500 for our pupils in Year 7 (March 2015)
It is £500 per pupil and we have 9 pupils with level 3s in Reading or Maths.
The money was not ring-fenced but will go towards providing the following additional improvement strategies for these pupils. The five pupils have received the following support during Year 7 (2014-15.)
