FUNCTION
Distribution Center Splitters are responsible to prepare product for shipment to the retail locations.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
A. The Distribution Center Splitter reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager.
B. The Distribution Center Splitter has no direct supervisory authority.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
B. Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
C. Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
D. Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
E. Cross check quantities to packing slip, making corrections as necessary.
F. Load merchandise onto proper pellet, shrink wrap when necessary.
G. Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
A. Computer skills required
B. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A. High School Diploma or GED preferred

A. Distribution Center environment
