Dear Dr. Winters-Morehead,

Dr. Wilson in Sociology forwarded to me the information about the deletion of NURS 5327, which is used in the undergraduate and graduate women’s studies minors and the BA degree in WOST. I am writing to confirm that the WOST program (which is a stand-alone program, not a part of Sociology) has been informed of this planned action and that we have no objections to this planned action.

Leon,

It looks like you didn’t receive this notification of curriculum changes that could impact Sociology since it went to the former Chair. Nursing is seeking to delete two courses that have been banked

but could be used in the Women’s Studies programs. I’ve had this for a while so I apologize for not forwarding it sooner. They are just asking that you send an email (to Carol Winters-Morehead) verifying

that Sociology has been notified. If you have objections or you think your department will, you could send a note to the Graduate Curriculum Committee () and they could go on to consider the rest

of the package without this item.

The Graduate Curriculum is meeting tomorrow so there is an issue with time here – again I apologize for not sending this along before.

Thanks,

Heather
