C. Business arising from the Minutes:

D. Financial Report presented by Lorne

- Request from HZSD for per capita grant will be done soon
- Seed grant (hosting) cheque written to Wakaw
E. Correspondence
- YSF: VIA Rail award passed on to Corrinne.
- YSF will present Board candidates soon. Exec has given Gerard power to place our vote at his discretion.
- Ministry of Ed funding to provincial organization to stay at $40,000 (same as last year, but $10,000 less than years previous). As a region, CTRSF is financially sound.
- Jim Langen is provincial coordinator
F. Canada-Wide report
- Canada-wide to be held in Peterborough; Joel Taphorn’s name suggested as this year’s delegate
G. New Business:
- Site for 2010 – Wakaw (Thur. Mar. 25)
o sources of potential judges recorded
o Website has been updated. Corey will update this year’s documents soon
o Deadline for entries Wed. Mar. 17
o Caterer is booked
o Executive toured the facility
- Gerard to approach HZSD about insurance for fair
