Science offers individuals a varied range of job opportunities. Some of the jobs associated with the field of science include: analytical chemist, biochemist, laboratory technician, biotechnologist, botanist, chemical engineer, ecologist, environmentalist, geologist, marine surveyor, marine biologist, meteorologist, microbiologist, toxicologist, scientist and zoological scientist. And there are many more job titles that can be added to the list!

How to Pursue a Science-Related Career

Science-related careers are typically built upon some form of training and/or education.

Further Education

Individuals may choose from a range of courses offered at NCVA FETAC 2 level. These courses are run on both a full-time and part-time basis in Local Adult Education Centres and Secondary Schools. Some private colleges also offer FETAC 2 qualifications. Course titles include:
