Trainee Farm Manager & Experienced Managerial positions.
JMW Farms functions as an innovative forward thinking pork production company originating in Northern Ireland and currently operating a multi-site operation spanning UK and Ireland.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the company in the creation of a number of new positions, namely that of Trainee Farm Manager & an experienced Managerial position to oversee a new state of the art fattening unit in Co Louth. Development for the trainee position will take place in Tullamore Co.Offaly where accommodation will be provided.
The successful trainee candidate’s will embark on a program where they will be developed in all aspects of modern day pig production including breeding, feed management, feed milling, maintenance etc. spending time in many of the companies different production sites. It is envisaged, that upon completion the successful candidates will become Managers at one of the groups facilities.
Trainee candidates should be computer literate, in addition they will need to show an ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate a "can do attitude" and show a willingness to learn quickly in a fast moving, changing environment. Trainee candidates who have no previous experience in pigs are actively encouraged to apply, however previous livestock experience would be an advantage.
The Experienced Managerial role will also include a tailored development programme. The successful candidate for this position will require previous comprehensive experience in all aspects of Pork production.
