  1. No-Ad Scoring.
  1. 5 minute warm-up including serves. Two minute warning, when possible.
  1. 2 tie-break sets, regular scoring, set tie-break at 6 all. {First to 7 by 2}. Play a deciding match tie-break.iIf you split sets {first to 10 by 2}. Alternate scoring may be used in case of inclement weather. Pro-set, short sets, etc. Coman tiebreak rotation is used at the District Championships. (Change ends after first point and then every 4 points thereafter). Allow players to serve from the same side during the setdeciding match tie-break.
  1. 20 seconds between points, 90 seconds on changeover except after 1st game, 2 minutes between sets including match tie break.
  1. Do not leave the courts unless an Official is notified and permission is granted. Reasonable bathroom breaks allowed, preferably between sets or changeover.Leaving the court for a replacement racquet is subject to the PPS., delay of game.
  1. Visiting team calls the toss and all choices made before commencing warm-up. Winner may elect one of the following:
  2. Serve or receive
  3. Side
  4. Defer – have your opponent make the first choice
  1. Players should use “score tenders” where provided and server should announce score after every point played to minimize disputes. Tournament desk will announce assignment of “colors” to Home Team and Visitor Team and they will be used uniformly throughout the event.
  1. Cell Phones: Cell phones, pagers, electronic devices, etc. are on OFF while on the court.
  1. Cheer for good point, not an error. Teammates and other supporters should observe proper tennis etiquette. Applaud/cheer your team’s positive actions, not their opponent’s mistakes.
  1. Code Violations: Point, game, default. Includes but not limited to:
  1. Visible or audible profanity, obscenities
  2. Coaching
  3. Racket or ball abuse
  4. Un-sportsmanlike conduct
  1. Umpires foot faults, lets and overrule obvious outcalls. Outcalls corrected by the umpire result in loss of point. Out calls corrected by the player (Loss of Point).
  1. Players should call a let on their own court, when a ball from an adjacent court endangers a player. Call must be immediate.
  1. Players call ball in or out. Any part of the line the ball touches is considered good.
  1. Per League Regulation 2.03F, no substitution in a line up may be made once it is turned in to the Tournament Desk, except for injury to, illness of, or disqualification of a listed player prior to the start of the match. Where the Referee or Tournament Director approves a substitution, the replacement player takes the exact position of the player being replaced with no other adjustments to the line-up permitted.
  1. Per League Regulation 2.03K,if a team must forfeit a position, it must do so “from the bottom up” (e.g., Forfeit #2S before #1S; #3D before #2D, etc.) A team must have a mathematical chance to win the match or it is a Team Default and no individual matches may be played.
  1. Per regulation 2.03L, if a team defaults an entire team match for any reason during round robin play, that team is ineligible to continue play at that championship. All matches of the defaulting team already played shall be null and void when determining standings but will be used for ratings and advancement purposes. The District may impose further penalties on the defaulting team.
  1. Players may be called to the court early when a match tie-break is in progress. Wait quietly until the match has been completed (Hand Shake) then enter the court ready to play.
  1. Team line-ups are due 30 minutes prior to scheduled match time.Late penalties (PPS) apply when a court is available and a team is called to play. Failure to submit line up on time, regardless of court availability, results in a $50 cash fine per occurrence, which must be paid before the offending team will be permitted on court to play its scheduled match.
  1. Scheduling rained out matches. Report to Tournament Desk.
  1. Medical:
  1. Bleeding: a bleeding time-out consist of up to 15 minutes to stop visible bleeding clean up the court and dispose of contaminated items.
  1. Medical Time-Out: consist of evaluation time as determined by the Referee plus a maximum of 3 minutes. {Excludes Non-treatable condition}
