One 18 Hole Round
“LOGO BALL and “LONE RANGER BEST BALL TEAM EVENT”
(You can sign up as a team or you will be placed on a team)
“LOGO BALL” – Each team will get one Logo Ball. You will establish a hitting order and this player will be known as the Lone Ranger. Keep this order throughout the 18 holes. Player two will start the second hole with the Logo Ball. Player three and four will continue this. KEEP this rotation until the 18 holes are complete. At the end you will have one score for the Logo Ball and a second score for the format below. If you loose the Logo Ball you will be out of this portion of the Tournament, unless everyone else loses his or her ball. Then we will go with who ever had it the longest.
LONE RANGER: This game requires 3-4 players per team to play in a best ball format. Each player plays their own ball with the twist being that each player takes turns (in the predetermined rotation established above) being the 'Lone Ranger' for the hole. Two scores are recorded for the team; the Lone Ranger's score with the Logo Ball or own ball if the Logo is lost as well as the best ball score from the other teammates. The Lone Ranger rotation would work as follows: Player A is the Lone Ranger for holes 1, 5, 9, 13, and 17; Player B for holes 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, etc. At the end you will have two scores on your card, the Logo ball and the 3 man Scramble/Best Ball score. It is a great game that puts some pressure on individual players by not only trying not to lose the logo ball but trying to score well enough to keep you in the running. Good Luck.
