CANADIAN JEWISH HISTORY

PARTIAL BIBLIOGRAPHY

•This is not meant to be a definitive bibliography on Canadian Jewish History. Rather it is an ongoing list of books which have caught the eye and interest of one researcher with a limited field devoted primarily to early Canadian Jewish history - mostly, but not exclusively, in the Montreal to Quebec City corridor in the 18th and 19th century - and its relevance to Canadian history in general.

•Many of the items have a primary focus on the United States, England, Jamaica and other areas. They are included because each of them contains large or small segments of relevance to the researcher’s field of study.
