Ok good, now we have to go to bed. “Whoa, not us bats”, said Stellaluna. Oh, by the way, they’re fuzzy.

“Oh! Pip Flitter!” here comes Stellaluna. Act normal! Oh Stellaluna, what a surprise. Want to meet my bat family guys? “Ok!!” said, Pip, Flitter; Flat, ok let’s go. Woosh, this lady is crazy doing loopdy-doops and stuff. Almost there, closer, closer. Yay! We are there!

It’s night. Pip, Flitter and Stellaluna, let’s go. Okay, I can’t see a thing Stellaluna. I’m falling, help me! AAAA!!! That was scary. I guess you’re not the same after all. All we are is friends. Bye Stellaluna, see you around.

Pip, Flitter, Flap come meet my family. I love orange, juicy, tasty mangoes. My Mom is delightful. It’s so cozy to cuddle with my Mom. We’re having a Mexican fruit feast.

Mother, I squeaked. Where are you? By daybreak I could hold on no longer. Down, down I went. I fell in a robin’s nest. I felt frightened because the birds were staring at me.

One night I went to see the birds. Hey, Pip, Flitter and Flap, come with me to my family. They eat the best stuff in the world, I explained on the way. It’s dark in here.

“Come and meet my bat family” I said to Pip, Flitter and Flap. We shall wait until dark, it will be AWESOME. It is dark, let’s go. Ahhh, we can’t see. I will save you. We were going down, down. Yes, I got you, up up up we go. All safe.

Do you want to see my bat family? No. Come on. Fine. This is my Mom. “I know” said Pip. It’s almost dark. The big, white moon will shine on me. It’s dark out. I went flying with Pip, Flitter and Flap. “I can’t see a thing!” said Pip. It was morning, the ground was really hard. I went back to the gray cave. I never want to go flying with you ever again, said Flitter. The bats were brown, the birds were black.

Do you want to come to my place? That is great, let’s go. We’re here. Wait until it is dark, it is the best time to fly. It will be dark, we will see the moon and the stars. We can fly all night. So it is time to go. Let’s go, Pip and Flitter and Flap. Let’s goooooo. One of my friends are in trouble. You guys are safe. Are you hurt?

I went to go visit Pip, Flitter and Flap. Hi guys, come and meet my bat family. Okay, let’s go then. I feel scared in the dark. “Ahhhhh”, said Pip. “Help me”, said Flitter. “Save me”, said Flap. “I’m coming”, I said. “Woo, hoo” I said. You saved me. Now let’s go home, I said. Good night.

Hey guys, I found my bat family. Anyways would you like to meet them, because you could try the most tastiest fruit. Well, anyways if you want to meet my bat family, we better get going because I want to show you I can fly at dark. I feel very happy that I found my bat family, but kind of sad because I need to leave you guys.

Mom, I am going to go see Pip, Flitter and Flap. When I got there I said, “You guys should come and meet my bat family” and they did. We flew to a big giant tree. Pip, Flitter and Flap landed on a big fat branch. At nighttime we will fly to my bat family. When it was night we flew, then I heard Pip say “I can’t see” and Flitter say “Neither can I”.

Hey guys! Come and meet my bat family. Pip, Flitter and Flap were excited. They flew to Stellaluna’s family. We eat the best foold in the world! When it is dark we will fly. It feels the best when the wind blows in your face and it howls like an owl. It is dark now, let’s fly! Stellaluna jumped from the branch. Pip, Flitter and Flap followed her. Ahh!! We can’t see, we’re going to crash!! “Grab on!” said Stellaluna. You’re safe now. I wish you guys could see in the dark too. “We fell so much alike” said Pip.
