Direction to CampMason
CampMason is located north of the Delaware Water Gap, in rural WarrenCounty. It is about 1.2 hours from the GeorgeWashingtonBridge, and 2 hours from North Philadelphia, traffic expected.
To reach CampMason, take the most direct route to Interstate 80, near the New Jersey, Pennsylvania border. From the New York area, take I-280, I-287 or the GSP to I-80. From the shore, take the GSP to I-287 or I280 to I-80. From Trenton/east Philadelphia routes 31 or 206 north to I-80. From west Philadelphia, or Bucks County rt. 611 N or the N.E. extension to 78/22, east to rt. 33 then North to I-80 East.
From Interstate 80 West Bound (NYC & New Jersey)
- Take exit #12, Blairstown/Hope. Proceed North off the ramp on 521, towards Blairstown
- At the T-junction with Rte. 94, turn left (The Forge restaurant is on corner)
- Proceed ¼ mile to Sunoco and Valero gas stations on left. Turn right, opposite gas stations, and then another quick right onto Main Street.
- Follow "From Blairstown" directions below
From Interstate 80 East Bound (Pennsylvania and Del Water Gap)
- Take exit 4C (Blairstown, Rte 94 North)
- Follow Rte. 94 North to Blairstown (approx. 7 miles)
- You will pass A& P center and go through one traffic light. At Valero gas station (on right) turn left and then immediately right onto Main Street
- Follow "From Blairstown" directions below

- At the old mill with stone arches (waterfalls and park behind) bear left and go up short, steep hill.
- At top of hill, bear left at split, and proceed towards Millbrook, on Millbrook Rd. (multi-camp signs on corner)
- Stay on Millbrook Rd. for about 3 miles. Just past Princeton Camp, watch for Birch Ridge Rd., a right turn. YMCA Camp Mason sign is on a tree on the corner.

Classroom Close-up Consent Form
Classroom Close-up, NJ is a magazine program focusing on innovative projects happening in New Jersey public schools. This 30-minute weekly series features the students, teachers, school staff, and communities who create and participate in successful school projects and events. Now in its 18th season, Classroom Close-up, NJ has won 11 Emmys and is currently airing on NJTV on Sundays at 6:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. This show is sponsored by PSE&G.
Classroom Close-up, NJ will produce a segment about the Montgomery 8th grade class trip to CampMason and will, therefore, have a film crew at CampMason on Wednesday, October 17th. (Not to brag, but this is the 5th time Montgomery will be highlighted on Classroom Close-up, NJ.)

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
1. Students (and/or adults) may NOT posses or consume alcoholic beverages, drugs, or tobacco under any circumstances. Students who are caught violating this rule will be required to be picked up at the camp IMMEDIATELY by their parent or guardian.
2. Students are expected to be punctual in attending all activities, follow all directions, and check in with their assigned chaperones at all times. Chaperones must know student whereabouts at all times.
3. Students are expected to use appropriate language, common sense, and discretion at all times and be respectful to chaperones, bus drivers, and camp employees.
4. Students must comply with the curfew. This means all students must be in their assigned cabin at this time.
5. Students attending the trip must travel on the buses; they may not arrive by any other means except with specific permission from the class advisor or principal.
6. Students will be financially responsible for any damage they may cause at any time during the trip.
7. Each student is limited to his/her assigned cabin. No one has permission to enter another cabin.
8. All school rules will apply for the duration of the trip. All camp rules will also be followed.
9. Ipods may be used on the bus, but should be packed away while on camp grounds. The school takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
10. All medications must be given to the school nurse by OCTOBER 10th. Each must be in an original non-expired container. Further, you must hand in a “Medication Request Form” for all medications.
11. If deemed necessary by the school principal, a parent or guardian my need to pick up a student at any time. Parents, by signing this contract, agree to pick up their son/daughter if requested to do so.

The following behavioral expectations will be discussed with the 8th grade class.
1. Follow all class and school rules.
2. Be respectful to instructors, chaperones, and students.
- Arrive to all activities, meals, and programs on time.
- Show up for your assigned ‘cruiser duty.’ (Each person will set up for a meal or evening program during the course of the trip.)
- Do not enter any cabin besides that to which you have been assigned. You may not even step on the porch of another cabin.
- Sit at your assigned table for all meals.
- Clean up after yourself after meals and in the cabin.
