Plans are well underway for an evening of art and fun on Saturday, July 23, 2011. We will close Macon Alley between Frankfort and Whittier from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm for an event featuring juried artists from around central Ohio.
We need volunteers to implement our plans for the event. Volunteer for a shift and receive free admission. Please review the Volunteer Descriptions, complete and return the form below. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail (or snail mail if you choose) detailing your volunteer duty and check in location.
We look forward to a great evening and hope you will join us.
I would love to join in the fun of Art Crawl!

Tent Set-Up Team This involves putting up and taking down 10’ X 20’ we use for Art Crawl (8-10 of them). We will put them up starting at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 23rd. Should take less than 2 hours. The will be taken down immediately following the event. This should take about 1 hour. This is pretty easy, but it helps to be tall or bring a step stool.

Set-UP Team This involves some physical work. You’ll be setting up tables, chairs and maybe some small pop-up tents along the alley, as well as putting out trash containers, and other things that might come up that day.

Tear-Down Team And yes, all that has to come down and be put away after the event closes at 10:00pm. So, you night owls that don’t mind a little heavy lifting will be much appreciated on this team.

Ticket Takers Sell event tickets, drink tickets and provide directions for guests. There will be a ticket table at each cross street.

Bartenders If pouring beer, wine and soft drinks is your idea of a good time, this is the volunteer team for you.

Security and Artist Hospitality We need volunteers who will relieve artists in the garages, so they can take a break to go to the bathroom, get food, look at other art, etc. The volunteer will stay in the garage, greet people, keep an eye on the art, etc. while the artist is out.

Make-A-Mural We have designed a mural for Art Crawl. Our guests will be allowed to paint this mural during the evening. We need volunteers who will assist our guests in getting the best results with their painting. Also to keep paint supplies clean and tidy and put cleaned supplies away at the end of the evening. (A new twist on the old “Paint by Numbers”…lots of fun!)
