Car 9 Ron Allen & Derek Le Bailly are out with a clutch that was smoking more than a Samsung phone.Derek wouldn’t let it lay there though, so a new clutch has been fitted ready for the Trophy Rally

Car 43 Ian Barnard & Steve Greenhill are going well but they are under strict instructions to come back in one piece as Ian is moving next week and his better half is expecting some work out of him!

Car 44 Richard Le Marquand & Trevor Rabet have welded up a wayward engine mount after the engine went all ‘Braveheart’ on them and made yet another bid for “FREEDOM”!

Car 8 Julian Wilkes and Will Rutherford said they are now happy with the conditions after the rain!!!! They were 1 second off leader Simon Mauger on Sorel stage this morning in their 1.4!!!

Car 4 Chris West & Robbie Hannah said that the Sorel stage was so slippery that they might have been better off going round the motocross track!! Suffered a little bit of damage along the way to the rear of the car!!

Car 5 Simon Chapman & Neil Coleman set the fastest time on the first stage this morning. They said it was greasy to say the least!!! They then lost around 15 seconds on the second stage due to stalling it.

Car 58 Jack Butel is out of the rally on the Boulay bay stage due to gear box issues

Contrary to popular believe Hollyhocks catering in the paddock has not run out of bacon and everything from the menu is still available!!!
