CALL FOR PRESENTERS FORM
The North Carolina Juvenile Services Association(NCJSA) has provided leadership and training in the juvenile justice field for more than four (4) decades. NCJSA has demonstrated expertise in offering a continuum of professional development opportunities for individuals new to the juvenile justice arena, in addition to those with advanced levels of education and practical experience.

The NCJSA 2017 Conference Planning Committee is pleased to release the “Call for Presenters Form” officially
opening our solicitation process for workshop proposals. The conference will be held at Courtyard Marriott at
Carolina Beach, NC on Wednesday, October 25thto Friday, October 27th, 2017
Attendees will select workshops relevantto their job responsibilities, level of interest, and overall trajectory for professional growth. Based on feedback from past conferences,a list of topicscreated by the Conference Planning Committee is listed below:

Note: These topics do not represent the full list of all conference offerings and is subject to change.
Conference workshops should be delivered within a 90 minute timeframe permitting participants to become actively engaged in a question and answer session. Evaluations are mandatory at the conclusion of each session. Workshop materials and handouts should be copied prior to arrival and on-site printing cannot be accommodated due to costs. Average workshop attendance is approximately 60-70 individuals.
