How to join Finland pavilion at Hannover Messe 2018

Team Finland organizes the Call for Participation for companies to join the event. Companies express their willingness to join by filling in and signing the order form presented in this document.
The order is binding upon signing.
The places at the Finland pavilion are filled in with suitable companies on “first come, first served” basis until the maximum number of companies is reached. Therefore, Finpro reserves the right to close enrollment at any time during the period of the call for participation. The companies that have signed will be contacted directly. The price of the attendance package will be invoiced once Finpro has confirmed the company’s attendance at the Finland Pavillion.

Appendix 1: Order Form

Terms & Conditions for the Call for Participation

Price

• The price of the attendance package is 8 000 € (VAT0) for the HM2018 Premium Package.

• The price of the attendance package is 5 500 € (VAT0) for the HM2018 Standard Package.

• Price does not include corporate specific cargo fees for corporate materials such as brochures, demo tools etc.

• Price does not include travel arrangement services such as booking hotel rooms or flights. Accommodation and travel arrangements must be taken care of by companies themselves.

• Any special arrangements such as placing equipment in the stand must always be confirmed with a Finpro representative in advance.

The prices include the items listed in the description of the Call for Participation.

Invoicing and terms of payment

• The attendance package price will be invoiced by Finpro Oy from Helsinki as follows:

• The price of the attendance package will be invoiced in full once Finpro has confirmed the company’s attendance at Finland stand.

• Term of payment is 14 days from the date of the invoice.

• The current value added tax will be added to all charges.

Validity

This quotation is valid until the maximum number of companies is reached. The packages are sold on the “first come, first served” basis. The order is binding upon signing.

General terms

In executing this contract Finpro applies the Conditions of Contract for Exhibition Attendance Packages (Appendix 2).

Appendix 2: Conditions of Contract for Exhibition Attendance Packages

1. GENERAL

These conditions of contract constitute part of Finpro Oy’s (Finpro’s) quotation to the client with respect to the exhibition attendance packages. In case of conflicting provisions, the other parts of the quotation shall prevail over these general conditions.

2. CONTRACTING PARTIES

The contracting parties consist of the ordering company as the client and Finpro as the service provider.

3. CONTRACT OF ASSIGNMENT

The contract includes Finpro’s order form and appendices to it approved by the client by ordering the attendance package, as well as any agreed and recorded amendments to it.

4. PRICE AND INVOICING; CONFIRMING THE ORDER

Prices for attendance packages are defined in the order form. Invoicing takes place in euro from Finland. Furthermore, the applicable value-added tax in accordance with the Finnish legislation will be added to the charge. The term of payment is 14 days from the date of the invoice.

Finpro is entitled to change the charge (e.g. due to changes in value-added tax or other tax) and receive compensation from the client for those additional costs that have to be remitted due to changed law or orders of the authorities. Finpro is obliged to immediately inform the client of any such changes.

The client confirms its commitment in joining the exhibition by signing the order form of the attendance package. After the company has signed the form, Finpro will confirm the company’s participation to the exhibition.

5. CANCELLATION

If the client cancels the attendance package purchase:

- Finpro will refund 50 % of the paid sum if the cancellation is conducted more than 90 days before the event.

- If the cancellation is conducted less than 90 days before the event, the fee of the attendance package will not be refunded.

Finpro is entitled to suspend or to terminate the contract if the circumstances change in such a way that completing of the services becomes unreasonable. In case of termination the client shall compensate Finpro for the costs of the service so far carried out based on a separate account.

6. TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT AND SUBCONTRACTORS

Finpro has the right to transfer the contract to the entity to whom Finpro’s functions would be transferred partly or totally. In other respect the parties have no the right to transfer the contract to a third party without a written consent from the other party.

Finpro is entitled and utilizes subcontractors for carrying out the practical arrangements related to the exhibition.

7. CLIENT MATERIALS

Client shall provide Finpro with the company materials for advertising purposes as instructed by Finpro. Finpro is entitled to use client’s name, logo and such materials for advertising the exhibition that are subject to the quotation.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Finpro’s liability is limited to client’s proven direct damages only and may not exceed the sum of the charges paid by the client excluding value-added tax. The claim challenging the liability shall be presented to Finpro within six months from the completion of the contract. Finpro is not responsible for the acts or omissions of the exhibition organization.

9. SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES

Any possible disputes arising from the assignment are primarily to be settled by means of negotiations. In case no settlement can be reached within 30 days after beginning the negotiations, the disputes will be settled at the Helsinki District Court applying Finnish legislation.
