February 6thGrad Bash Ticket Sales Begin (PLEASE NOTE - Senior fee must be paid and senior status achieved prior to purchasing Grad Bash Ticket). There are a limited number of tickets that will be sold on a first come basis.
February 10thDeadline for corrections to transcripts and posting of applicable transfer grades for graduation honor classifications.
March 8th, 9thAnnouncement Delivery – Balance Due to Herff Jones prior to pick up!
Lobby 11am-1pm.
April 12thMake-up Announcement Delivery during lunch in the lobby
April 21st – April 22nd Grad Bash – Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure. Depart Leon at 10am on April 21st and return at 6am on April 22nd.
May 5thDeadline to finish LCVS/ACE. Grades must be posted. Work with your guidance counselor early!!!
May 12thCap and Gown Delivery – All outstanding debts (lost books, uniforms, etc. from your entire high school career) must be cleared prior to pickup of caps and gowns.
May 12thSenior Camp Out8pm
May 15th Senior Awards Program and Senior Class Luncheon
Leon Auditorium 10am. Parents welcome for the program. Seniors only for lunch.
May 24thGraduation Rehearsal – Civic Center @ 2pm. Don’t be late!
May 27th Graduation – Civic Center 7pm.Seniors report at 6pm.
May 27th Project Graduation
June 12thTranscripts automatically sent to the college on file
June 14thDiploma pick up in guidance after 9am

ANTICIPATEDEXPENSES FOR SENIOR YEAR
- Senior Fee - $60
- This fee pays for the Senior Awards Program, Senior Class luncheon, cap, gown and tassel, diplomas, flowers, Civic Center fees, programs, etc. This is the only REQUIRED fee. See other insert about payment options. Deadline to pay senior fee is October 31, 2016.
THE FOLLOWING EXPENSES ARE OPTIONAL:
- Senior Picture – prices vary based on package purchased
- Have you taken your Senior picture for the yearbook? If not, please call SWI to set up an appointment at (850) 425-1010
- Senior T-shirt – approximately $15
- To be ordered August/early September
- Graduation Announcements (invitations) – prices vary depending on individual order
- Orders will be taken on October 25th and 26thby our Herff Jones representative, Brad Maxwell in the lobby from 11am – 2pm
- Panoramic Photo – approximately $20
- Photo and order will be taken October 19th during the senior class meeting.
- Grad Bash – approximately $130
- The ONLY school sponsored/sanctioned trip for seniors will consist of a bus trip to Orlando for a lock-in exclusively for seniors on April 21/22 at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first come basis starting on February 6th.
- Project Graduation – approximately $25
- This graduation “after party” hosted by parents of seniors in conjunction with the PTO follows graduation on May 27th, 2017. Tickets will be sold by Project Graduation parents in May.
- Leon’s Lion Tale Yearbook – approximately $85
- Senior ads for the yearbook are on sale and range from approximately $75 - $300.
