Busy Bee, Inc. Set to Host Viewing Party of Hit Show Scandal for Members of the Community

Houston-based provider of prevention education and services announces upcoming activity to encourage community involvement in the organization’s programs

HOUSTON, TX—May 13, 2013—Busy Bee, Inc. along with its MSM initiative is excited to announce a viewing party for the hit show, Scandal, called the ‘Scandalicious Watch Party!’ which will be held at a larger venue, Duo Houston located at 1924 Calumet. The party will be held on Thursday, May 16, and guests are invited to start arriving at 7:00 p.m.

According to event organizers, this will be the biggest Scandal watch party being held in the greater Houston area. Busy Bee has been holding watch parties for the show throughout the season, as a way to not only provide the community with an entertaining activity, but also to provide guests with access to the Busy Bee facilities such as free Rapid HIV tests, computer labs and workout facilities. Since the finale party was moved to the Duo Houston facility as a result of a high expected level of attendance, guests won’t have access to the computer labs and workout room, but Busy Bee will offer guests complimentary refreshments the opportunity to enter fun giveaways, trivia questions during commercial breaks, including the big Olivia Pope Look-A-Like Contest.

“This is a great opportunity for any individual in the community to come enjoy the company of others while watching the season finale of one of the biggest television shows on right now,” said Ivan Prader, EDP Director. “Not only is Scandal hugely popular, but it also ties into a lot of the topics we delve into with the people we work with in the community. This is something many of the young people we work with can relate to, which is why we’re so excited to host this viewing party—it’s something that resonates with people in the Houston community, particularly young people.”
