Foundation Stage Open Week
Thank you to everyone that visited our Foundation Stage open week, we hope you enjoyed meeting everyone.
Amazing Assembly
Year 3 pupils presented a fantastic range of work during their assembly on Tuesday. It was great to see all the things they have been learning this term from balanced diets and skeletons to the war and evacuation. Well done Year 3.
Magical Movies
Our junior classes visited Hebden Bridge cinema this morning and enjoyed watching Cinderella. Thank you to the cinema for hosting this free event.
Remembrance
On Sunday our choir took part in the Mytholmroyd remembrance parade and service. They sang and behaved beautifully, making Mrs Wrathall and I very proud. Year 6 visited the Mytholmroyd memorial service at 11:00am on 11th November. We were very pleased with the respect they showed. The rest of the school held a minutes silence to remember everyone involved in war during the last 100 years.
Flood Warning Siren
We all enjoyed hearing the flood siren on Thursday afternoon and we are pleased to note it’s in good working order.
PTFA
Thank you to the PTFA members who attended the meeting yesterday. Your support is fantastic and we really appreciate you paying £1000 towards our Science week events, thank you.
Children in Need
It’s been great fun in non-uniform today. Thank you to everyone who sent in money for this great cause. You helped raise £212.60.
