Church Family:
This coming Thursday is Thanksgiving Day for our friends to the South. Like them we have much to be thankful for. We thank God for the way he has blessed us individually and communally. We are thankful that Jordan’s check-up looked good and we are hopeful that his tracheotomy may be reversed next spring. We pray for patience, strength, and healing for those who have had a difficult year with their health.
This week As Pastor Frank fills a classical appointment in Brooks this morning, we welcome Mr. Harry Valstar to bring God’s message.
Our worship next week
Two sacraments were instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ, baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Both celebrate the washing away of our sins because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. In our tradition we accept that children of believers are baptized because they are included among God’s covenant people. Next Sunday we explore how God’s covenant people are invited to participate in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
