Bull Thoughts:
It has been a long spring and a very short summer for many of us. Seems like it rained three or four days out of the week all summer. I think I was in my pool three times and had to work on it everyday due to the rain, it kept filling above the skimmer.
I heard KB1IXI asking where everyone was. I told him only a few on once in a while in the summer. We did have a few people show up as the rain kept us inside.
Bull Thoughts 2:
The April 14, 2008 Pasture call was one of our best; we had 28 bulls check in. The Bulls checking in were: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 42, 46, 47, 50 and 54. We also had a non-member station check in; WF2H, Francis, Norfolk, NY. Francis has agreed to membership and now holds number 56. Seems like April was a long time back. See you in October for the next PC.
Bull Thoughts 3: If your memory is like mine and you need some help remembering all the names and calls of your fellow bulls. Either print out the pages of the Bull sheet or place a copy in your documents file for quick and easy viewing. You can also go to the web site.

Bull Dozed
This special issue Bull Dozed award is for Number 14, K1GAR, John, Kiss One Gorilla And Run. For all the times we heard. Have you heard the one about?
John was one of the good guys, I believe his whole intent was to make you smile and enjoy the hobby. I think most of us would agree that most of the time he succeeded.
The Bull number 14 has been retired, the master list will show that number 14 belongs to K1GAR. When you think of K1GAR you can’t help but grin.
A while back I chatted with Lester, KA1LAP, he said he could take over the job of telling jokes. All I can say is hang on to your rig and have the cans ready. Things just might be a jumping.

Well to be honest with you, I will have to see how the dates for hunting and fishing go. Having a little trouble setting up the dates for my days a field. Plus the band has been terrible. As soon as I know, I’ll send a Pasture Call Alert (PCA) a few days before. Sorry, but you know how it is. Don’t you?
