Participants and their parents/guardians are warned that while Loch Earn SC will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of the participants, supervision afloat will only be provided during formal training or racing sessions, and participants sailing at other times will do so entirely at their own risk.

Furthermore, while there will be some supervision ashore, it is not possible for strict supervision to be exercised. Loch Earn Sailing Club, its servants and agents, will accept no liability for loss or injury caused under any circumstances.

The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole and inescapable responsibility of the parent/sailor sailing the boat. They must ensure that the boat and sailor are adequate to face the conditions that may arise during the event.

Buoyancy aids shall be worn by all competitors afloat and at all times on club jetties.

All coaching will be undertaken in line with RYA Scotland’s Child Protection Policy.
