Each Fencer is personally responsible for making sure that his or her clothing and equipment conform to the FIE and British Fencing rules and are in good condition. Neither British Fencing nor Warwick School, nor the organisers of the competition, nor any official or referee involved in the competition is responsible for these matters, or for any accident, loss or damage to persons or property however caused.

Whilst Leon Paul and the organisers of the Warwick Leon Paul Epee make every attempt to ensure that the event takes places safely in a safe and secure way, the responsibility for the safety and welfare of young fencers remains with the parent, or nominated responsible adult who is acting in loco parentis for that child. If you, as a parent or coach, bring a child to this event and then leave them during the day, could you please make sure that the organisers are aware of the identity of the responsible adult who is looking after that child.

I give permission for my son/daughter named above to take part in the ‘Warwick Leon Paul 2011’. I enclose a cheque for the sum of £12 payable to ‘Warwick School’.
