School Supply Lists- will be posted on the school website at the end of June. Students should also purchase a lock for their locker and a flash drive to use throughout the school year.

School Hours- 8:15a.m.-2:30p.m. *please send notes for absences, tardiness and dismissals

Early Release Tuesday- usually the 2nd & 4th Tuesday monthly-12:15p.m. dismissal-lunch served

Lunch Price: has been $2.50full price, $.40 reduced price,milk=$.50

Breakfast Price: has been $1.25 full price, $.25 reduced price healthy snacks=from $.75-$1.50

MCAS-2 Dates: Grade 6,7,8 ELAAnticipated April 2017

Interim Report Distribution: anticipated in Oct., Feb., & May- can also be found on ASPEN

Report Card Distribution: anticipated Dec., March, Final report card mailed at end of school yr.

Parent Teacher Conferences- anticipated at end of November & beginning of December- families make appointments to meet with teachers.

Parent/Teacher Organization Meetings- Usually on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00p.m.

After School Activities and Sports- Information will be on the daily announcements so students can sign up for areas of interest. Any student participating in a sport will need a physical.

T-Bus Passes- Students will be able to get an MBTA Student Charlie Card at BMMS to receive reduced rate student travel and refill the card either on the bus or at an MBTA Station.

School Store- Open 2 days/week in cafeteria (7:45-8:10am). A variety of school supplies sold. BMMS T-Shirts & sweatshirts are on sale in the main office- while supplies last.

Fundraisers Include:

Stop & Shop A+ Rewards- sign up at -school code= 07147

Students receive prizes for the list of numbers & last names submitted by mid Sept.

Wheel-A-Bration-Students get sponsors and take part in healthy activities- October

Scholastic Book Fair- students purchase books for personal reading or gifts- November.

Box Tops for Education- Label them with your name and turn them in to Student Council. There is a prize for the person who turns in the most. This is an ongoing effort.

Bay State Textiles- clothing and textiles drop box is in our parking lot for donations-ongoing.
