BRISTOL BSC CADET FOIL TOURNAMENT
This event has been nominated by British Fencing as a selection event for Cadets
Date:Boys – Saturday 5th October 2013.Girls – Sunday 6th October 2013.
Check in:Check in will open at 8.30am and close at 9am on both days.
Eligibility:The tournament is a Cadet event and is therefore open to all male and female fencers who are under 17 on 1st January 2014 but who are at least 11 years old on 1 January 2013. Fencers must be members of British Fencing on the date of the event.
Entries:The entry fee is £25. (Late entry fee £35 for entries received after 1st October)

Formula:One round of poules, followed by direct elimination with no repercharge.
However, the organisers reserve the right to change the format as they consider appropriate for the proper running of the competition.
Rules:The tournament will be run in accordance with FIE rules for competition and BFA disciplinary regulations.
Equipment:350 Newton jacket and breeches
800 Newton under plastron
Mask with conductive lame bib
Venue:The tournament will be will be held at Bristol University’s Coombe Dingle Sports Complex. There is Café in the Pavilion supplying refreshments and hot and cold food with a lounge overlooking sports fields. Free parking is available at the sports complex. For more details
