SIGNIFICANT EVENTS
01/01 San Bruno/Alvarado Driving Under the Influence
Officers responded to the area on a report of a vehicle collision. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver at fault had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #08-0101-003.
01/01 100 block of Old County Driving Under the Influence
Officers responded to the area on a report of a vehicle collision. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver at fault had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and booked at the main jail. Case closed. Report #08-0101-004.
01/01 500 Block of Alvarado Theft
The reporting party advised that between 12/30/07 and 01/01/08 an unknown subject unlocked two vehicles and took clothing and paperwork. The missing items were later recovered. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0101-05.
01/02 Unit block of Industrial Vandalism/Vehicle
The reporting party advised that between 01/01/08 and 01/02/08 an unknown subject used spray paint to write graffiti on two of his vehicles. The value of the loss is $8,000.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0102-002.
01/02 2800 block of Bayshore Assault w/Deadly Weapon
Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation. One subject sustained a fractured knee, numerous lacerations, a black eye and a concussion and was transported to the hospital. The other involved subject was later arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0102-003.
01/05 Bayshore/Geneva Public Intoxication
An officer contacted an intoxicated subject who was walking in lanes of traffic. Subsequent investigation revealed that she was too intoxicated to care for herself. She was transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #08-0105-001.
01/05 2000 block of Shoreline Warrant Arrest
An officer investigated a suspicious vehicle and its occupants. A records check of the driver revealed he had a $35,000.00 warrant from Belmont PD for possession of methamphetamine, a no bail warrant from San Mateo County SO for possession of stolen property and a $100,000.00 warrant from Santa Clara County SO for violation of probation. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0105-003.
01/05 2000 block of Shoreline Warrant Arrest
An officer investigated a suspicious vehicle and its occupants. A records check of one of the passengers revealed that she had a $60,000.00 warrant from Daly City PD for burglary, a $10,000.00 warrant from Daly City PD for theft and a $22,500.00 warrant from South San Francisco for possession of methamphetamine. She was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0105-004.
01/06 3200 block of Bayshore Possess Narcotics for Sale
An officer investigated an occupied suspicious vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of cocaine for sale. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0106-001.
01/06 Lake/San Bruno Hit and Run Collision
The reporting party advised that between 01/04/08 and 01/05/08 an unknown vehicle collided with her parked vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene without leaving his information or contacting the owner. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0106-002.
01/06 200 block of Visitacion Sexual Battery
The reporting party advised that on 01/06/08 at 1600 hours a male subject grabbed her buttocks. She was able to identify the subject. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for review. Case closed. Report #08-0106-003.
01/07 Unit block of Industrial Vandalism/Vehicle
The reporting party advised that between 01/06/08 and 01/07/08 an unknown subject keyed his vehicle. The value of the loss is $5,000.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0107-001.
01/07 Bayshore/Guadalupe Possess Dirk/Probation Violation
An officer stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that one of the passengers, on probation for possession of a switchblade knife, was in possession of a dirk/dagger and a pocket knife. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0107-002.
01/08 Brisbane Marina Burglary/Vehicle
The reporting party advised that between 12/23/07 and 01/08/08 an unknown subject pried open the door of his boat and took a radio, tools and a step stool. The value of the loss is $165.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0108-001.
01/10 400 block of Sierra Point Vandalism/Residential
The reporting party advised that between 12/27/07 and 01/10/08 an unknown subject spray painted graffiti on his residence. The value of the loss is unknown at this time. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0110-001.
01/13 3700 block of Bayshore Possession of Marijuana
An officer contacted a suspicious person in the area. Subsequent investigation revealed that he was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested, issued a court date and released. Case closed. Report #08-0113-001.
01/13 3800 block of Bayshore Vehicle Tampering
The reporting party advised that on 01/12/08 between 1630 hours and 2030 hours an unknown subject let the air out of three of the tires of her vehicle. The tires were not damaged. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0113-002.
01/13 N/B 101/Marina Driving Under the Influence
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0113-004.
01/14 Tulare/San Bruno Hit and Run Collision
The reporting party advised that on 01/14/08 between 1200 hours and 1500 hours an unknown vehicle collided with her parked vehicle. 01/14 Bayshore/Geneva Possession of Marijuana
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the passenger was in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was cited, given a court date and released at the scene. Case closed. Report #08-0114-004.
01/15 5000 block of Sierra Point Vandalism/Vehicle
The reporting party advised that between 01/14/08 and 01/15/08 an unknown subject smashed the front passenger window of his vehicle. The value of the loss is $1,000.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0115-001.
01/15 Unit block of Solano Attempted Burglary
The reporting party advised that between 01/10/08 and 01/11/08 an unknown subject damaged a door lock in an attempt to force entry into the school. Entry was not made and nothing was taken. The reporting party advised between 01/14/08 and 01/19/08, an unknown subject took two storage containers used to store miscellaneous harnesses and equipment used for hang-gliding. 01/21 2800 block of Bayshore Possession of Burglary Tools
An officer investigated an occupied suspicious vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of burglary tools, less than one ounce of marijuana and had vandalized the lock on the gate to the business where he was parked. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0121-001.
01/21 Unit block of Industrial Grand Theft
The reporting party advised that between 01/18/08 and 01/19/08 an unknown suspect removed scaffolding that was erected by the business owner in order to make repairs to the building. The value of the loss is approximately $700.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report# 08-0121-002.
01/23 900 block of Tunnel Driving Under the Influence
Officers responded to the area on a report of a solo vehicle collision. The driver was contacted on scene. Subsequent investigation revealed that he had been driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to First Chance. Case closed. Report #08-0123-002.
01/24 Unit block of Solano Petty Theft
The reporting party advised that on 01/23/08 between 1200 hours and 1500 hours, an unknown subject took a cellular phone from his daughter’s back pack. The value of the loss is $260.00. This case is on-going. Report #08-0124-001.
01/25 Bayshore/San Bruno False ID to a Police Officer
An officer stopped a driver for a vehicle code violation. The driver of the vehicle attempted to provide the officer with a false name because his license was suspended. He was cited and released at the scene. This case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Case closed. Report #08-0125-001.
01/28 2000 block of Sierra Point Pkwy Burglary/Vehicle
The reporting party advised that on 01/28/08 between 0845 hours and 1200 hours an unknown subject smashed the right front window of his vehicle and took his GPS unit and digital camera. The value of the loss is $1,020.00. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0128-001.
01/28 Bayshore/VWR Hit & Run Collision/DUI
Officers responded to the area on a report of an injury collision. The driver of the vehicle at fault had fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. Subsequent investigation led to the discovery of the driver and revealed that he had been driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested and booked at the jail. Case closed. Report #08-0128-002.
01/29 2000 block of Shoreline Annoying Phone Calls
Four reporting parties advised that between 01/27/08 and 01/28/08 they had received numerous annoying phone calls. Subsequent investigation revealed that the calls were coming from inside the hotel. A possible suspect was contacted and it was discovered that his juvenile children had been playing with the phone. Case closed. Report #08-0129-001.
01/29 100 block of South Hill Hit and Run Collision
The reporting party advised that on 01/29/08 between 0500 hours and 0730 hours, a light pole had been knocked down as the result of a vehicle collision. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without reporting the collision or contacting the property owner. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. 01/29 900 block of Humboldt Hit and Run Collision
The reporting party advised that between 01/21/08 and 01/28/08 an unknown vehicle collided with his parked vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene without leaving his information or contacting the owner. This case has been suspended pending further leads or suspect information. Report #08-0129-003.
01/30 5000 block of Sierra Point Pkwy Vandalism
An officer located a parked vehicle with its left rear window smashed. No one was in the area. The registered owner could not be located at that time. The value of the loss is not yet known. This case is on-going. Report #08-0130-002.

An officer towed a boat and trailer for being parked in excess of 72 hours. The vehicles were entered into SVS. Report #08-0103-001.
01/13 3800 block of Bayshore Blocked Driveway
An officer towed a black VW Jetta for blocking a driveway. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Report #08-0113-003.
01/14 Unit block of Thomas Expired Registration
An officer towed a red Toyota Corolla for registration expired in excess of 6 months. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Report #08-0114-001.
01/14 Unit block of Thomas Expired Registration
An officer towed a blue Ford Tempo for registration expired in excess of 6 months. The vehicle was entered into SVS. Report #08-0114-002.
