Brent Brasher Bio:

Brenton S. Brasher is vice president of KenGro Corporation, a biobased company located in Charleston, Mississippi. His responsibilities are new product research and development and product marketing. Besides his daily involvement in KenGro, he also farms with his wife, Gabriela. A longtime proponent of alternative and value-added agriculture, Brent has evaluated many crops for opportunity. He was the founding member of Mississippi Delta Fiber Cooperative, the predecessor of KenGro. Prior to his current career, Brent worked as a research assistant in agricultural economics at Mississippi State University, where his research focus was on alternative agriculture.

Brent received his B.S. and Masters degree in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University. In 1997, he was selected to represent the American Farm Bureau Federation as a John J. McCloy fellow to Germany.
