BRAYFORD FLOWER SHOW 2003

Sat 16th Aug opening at 5.30pm

RULES

1.The competition in each class shall be as stated in the schedule.

2. The entry forms and fees to be delivered as directed on the form.

3. All exhibits to be staged on the show table between 11.30am and 1.30pm on the day of the show. Judging to start at 1.45pm

4. No exhibit to be removed before prize giving, except by the permission of the committee. Exhibits must be cleared by 7.30pm. Any exhibits not cleared by this time will be at the disposal of the committee.

5. If any exhibit is of insufficient merit, or there are less than 3 entries in any class, the judge shall have the discretion to withhold any award.

6. Members of the committee, on receipt of the entry form, may from time to time, both before and after the show, visit any exhibitor’s garden or allotment.

7. For classes 1-34 Exhibitors must garden within the area defined on the societies map. Classes 35-72 are open to anyone within the defined map area, plus garden club members their Children/Grandchildren and children attending the village school

8. Any protest must be in writing and lodged with a member of the committee

before 6.30pm on the day of the show. This is to be accompanied by a protest fee of 50p. to be refunded only in the case of the protest being upheld by the committee.

9. The committee shall not be responsible for the loss or damage to the property of the exhibitors.

10. Admission fee to the show: - Adults £1 and Children free

11. All produce to have been grown in the exhibitors’ own Garden, except for classes 29,30 & 31 for which you may purchase flowers.

12. The cup holders are to be responsible for returning the cups cleaned & in good condition to Mr Michael Thorne (710215) by 26th July at the latest.

13. No competitor may have more than 2 entries per class.

14. The committee request that items of handicraft and photography which received prizes in previous years not to be re-entered.
