Call to Order: President McSkimmingcalled the meeting to order at 12:30

Celebrating birthdays this month: Faith DeLong, Marie Lalka, Jeanette Mirusso, Eunice Phillips, Marilyn Russell, Mary Ann Wargula

Roll Call:26 members were present

Secretary’s Report: Secretary Ostrowski read theSeptember Minutes. A motion to accept the minutes was made byMarlene McSkimming and seconded by George Cordia

Treasurers Report:Jeanette Mirusso reported that we have in our Travel Account: $2117.33 and $487.21in our Operating Account.

Trips:

October 17th we go to Seneca Niagara to see My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish and I’m in Therapy. We leave at 9 and return at 6

November 29th is Bartlett Theater at SUNY Fredonia to see Much Ado About Nothing. We leave at 10:45 and return at 4:45.

Christmas Party: Marge Pero made a motion to go to Colony House for the party. It was seconded by Sharon Catalano. Carried. A list for sign up will be available at the November Meeting.

The party will be Dec 10th.

Nominating Committee: Marge Pero and Marlene McSkimming volunteered to be on the committee.

Marie Lalka talked about having someone come in to give the flu shot at the Senior Building since the visiting nurses are not doing it anymore. The person said it would not be feasible. Thank you Marie for looking into this.

Farnham Auxiliary is having a Towel Bingo Party on Nov. 5th. Also the Brant Fire Hall is having their annual Spaghetti Dinner the same day.

Marilyn Russell makes a motion to have a potluck lunch for the November meeting. Marie Lalka seconded the motion. Carried. Please make enough to share with everyone. Marie will call those not at the meeting.

President McSkimming met with North Collins Seniors President George Jablonski, regarding the picnic. It will be held at the BrantPavilion On August 1st at 1pm. Brant will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers and rolls. Everyone will bring a dish to share. Marlene made the motion to accept these arrangements. Sharon seconded the motion. Carried.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Marie Lalka and seconded by Marlene McSkimming. Carried.
