Brad Tafa Hemmings is the CEO and founder of Inasite Multimedia Incorporated (located on the web at Inasite.com). Inasite is a leading provider of media and marketing solutionswith an emphasis on new media.

While Inasite offers their clients a full range of services including traditional media such as corporate id and graphic designs, Mr. Hemmings firmly believes that the Internet and its impact on business, entertainment and society is the most significant technological advance of our generation.

Hemmings began programming computers at the age of 10 after he was given a computer by an uncle during a visit to the United States and realized upon returning to his nativeJamaica that there was a limited availability of software. “I was unable to do what every 10 year old boy with a computer wanted to do…play games and so I learned to program my own” Hemmings explained on his initial involvement with computers. Not only did Hemmings create his own versions of the most popular games of the time, he began his first entrepreneurial venture charging local kids admission to play the games he made in his parent’s living room.

Several years later Hemmings was finishing his degree in Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University when he was introduced to HTML during a class assignment. Impressed by his work his professor asked him to leave the website online indefinitely to be used as an example for future classes. Inspired and eager to learn more Hemmings began attending Florida Computer and Business School in the evenings while continuing to complete his degree.

He was then hired by the City of North Miami as their full-time Webmaster to create their website ( however it was his freelancing building websites for a diverse clientele that brought him the most career satisfaction. He founded Inasite Multimedia in 2001 and the City of North Miami, his former employer became his first contract. He partnered with Bernard Rouzeau, an experienced graphic designer and their operationsquickly expanded to offer a wide range of services.

Currently Inasite’s portfolio contains several award winning websites and graphic designs. Their client’s websites receive over 30,000 cumulative visitors daily and their work has been given extensive national and international media coverage by outlets such as the Miami Herald, the New York Post, Inside Edition, WFOR, WPLG and KTLA.

He contributes the success of Inasite to their holistic approach. He explains “We go beyond just designing websites, we have a keen understanding of how people use the Internet and how to best utilize it to our clients advantage. We don’t just develop websites we develop businesses.” More details on Hemmings, Inasite Multimedia and their portfolio may be found on the company’s website Inasite.com.
