Overview

A “Path” is simply the location of a particular file on your PC – also called a “folder” or “directory”. When the PC tries to open a file, it follows this Path to the file’s location – and experiences an error if the file isn’t found.

BPO Automation Group products automatically configure file paths during installation, but if these get changed for any reason, then you may need to manually review & potentially fix them. This process involves quickly checking both the BPO Automation Suite as well as the iMacros browser to ensure that they’re both opening & saving files in the correct locations.

BPO Automation Suite Path Settings

First, launch the BPO Automation Suite from the icon on your desktop. Then, follow the instructions below to access the “Paths & Maps” tab in the “Options & Settings” menu. Make sure that your new path settings are followed with a trailing slash “\” symbol.

By default, the settings for Datasources, Maps, and Macros directories will match the settings below. By clicking the “Browse” button next to each of these paths, you can manually adjust the settings as required. Click ‘OK’ when finished to save any changes.

Windows XP Settings

Datasource Directory:C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\iMacros\datasources\
