  7. 12 rolls of toilet paper
  8. 6 cakes of toilet soap
  9. Enough washing powder, detergent and/or bar soap
  10. 1 bucket – plastic
  11. 1 water basin plastic
  12. 2 sets of uniform
  13. 1 set of games kit
  14. Rubber shoes for games
  15. 2 pairs of black shoes
  16. 4 pairs of socks
  17. 1 large tin black shoe polish and shoe brush
  18. Tooth paste (several tubes) and tooth brush
  19. 1 plastic cup
  20. 1 pillow
  21. 2 pillow cases
  22. 2 Pairs of bed sheets
  23. 2 Blankets
  24. For girls – Enough sanitary pads
  25. For girls – 7 pairs of bikers (black) are allowed
  26. Leg warmers (red or grey) optional

BOARDING RULES

1. All boarding fess and charges must be paid in full before one is permitted to board. No

part payments are allowed.

2. Pupils must report to school on or the evening before the opening daywith all items on the list

of boarding requirements; they are to be collected on closing dayonly by the people registeredas

the parent/guardian of the boarder.

3. Parents/guardians will be allowed to see their children only on official visiting days unless permission

is sought from the Headmasteror the Deputy Headmaster. A permission slip/ gate pass must always

be obtained before leaving and surrendered to the teacher on duty upon return.

6. Only items listed in the boarding requirements are allowed in school. Food and drink from outside,

electronics and other personal effects are strictly not permitted unless with the express approval of

Head teacher

7. All special dietary considerations must be verified in writing by a qualified medical practitioner from a

government hospital.

8. Boarders must maintain a very high standard of discipline and cleanliness at all times.

9. Electrical appliances e.g. blow dryers, hot combs, heating coils, electrical extensions etc. are not allowed in the school.

10. Personal gadgets and electronics such as mobile phones, iron boxes, game consoles are not allowed

in the school.

11. Treated hair, hair piece, earrings are not allowed. Ear studs for boys are not allowed.

12. Home clothes are to be wornafter class and on weekends; any inappropriate clothing will not be

permitted to be worn in school.

13. All medicine (prescribed) will be handled by the school matron / nurse.

14. Borders must respect the environment and conserve energy. Do not leave taps running or electricity

on when not in use.

15. Communication between pupils is strictly in English, French on Tuesdays and Kiswahili on Fridays

16. School assignments must be completed in time.

17. Boarding prefects are to be obeyed all times.

18. Boarders must attend the English Service at the designated church in full school uniform every

Sunday

19. Full participation in the school activities is compulsory. These activities include but are not limited toa. All timetabled lessons

b. Academic guidance and counselling

c. Games – indoors and outdoors

d. Clubs and activates

20. All pocket money should be deposited at the Accounts department. No boarder should have money

in the dorms, classroom or on their person.

22. Any personal problems are encouraged to be channelled it to either the matron, class teacher or

directly to the Headmaster.

21. The dormitories are subject to random inspection to ensure that the boarding rules are observed.

Any breach of boarding rules discovered during inspection will appear on the individual

boarding record and the appropriate disciplinary action will be taken; which may include immediate

suspension or expulsion from boarding and/or school.

The school managementreserves the right to withdraw boarders from boarding.
