Board Solicitor Michael Malinsky Swears in Recently Appointed Board Members, Councilman

The Town of Hammonton Planning Board re-organization meeting was called to order by Chairman Edward H. Marinelli, in Council Chambers, at 7:30 p.m., with the announcement of the Sunshine Law and fire exit procedure. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The meeting was televised.

Board Solicitor Michael Malinsky swears in recently appointed board members, Councilman Paul Esposito (who will sit for Mayor Stephen DiDonato), Salvatore Capelli (Class 1V), Philip DeMarco (Class 1V) and Vincent Messina (Alternate #2).

Chairman Marinelli asked board members for nominations for Chairman of the Hammonton Planning Board. Class 1V members eligible are: Salvatore Capelli, Philip DeMarco, Edward Marinelli, Gordon Pherribo and Kristyn Kent.

CHAIRMAN

Mr. Hozik made a motion to nominate Edward Marinelli for Chairman of the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. DeMarco seconded the motion.

Mr. Hozik made a motion to close nominations and Mr. Pherribo seconded the motion. EDWARD MARINELLI was unanimously elected as CHAIRMAN OF THE HAMMONTON PLANNING BOARD for a term of one year, 2015. Chairman Marinelli thanked the board and wished everyone a Happy New Year.

VICE CHAIRMAN

Mr. Esposito made a motion to nominate Gordon Pherribo for Vice Chairman of the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. Hozik seconded the motion. Mr. Esposito made a motion to close nominations and Mr. Messina seconded the motion. GORDON PHERRIBO was unanimously elected as VICE CHAIRMAN of the HAMMONTON PLANNING BOARD for a term of one year, 2015. Mr. Pherribo thanked the board.

SOLICITOR

Mr. Hozik made a motion to nominate Michael Malinsky, Esq. for Solicitor of the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. Pherribo seconded the motion. Mr. Pherribo made a motion to closed nominations and Mr. Hozik seconded the motion. MICHAEL MALINSKY, of FITZGERALD, MCGROARTY AND MALINSKY was unanimously appointed as SOLICITOR of the HAMMONTON PLANNING BOARD for a one year term, 2015. Mr. Malinsky thanked the board.

ENGINEER

Mr. Hozik made a motion to nominate Robert Vettese as Engineer for the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. Capelli seconded the motion. Mr. Pherribo made a motion to close nominations and Mr. Messina seconded the motion. ROBERT VETTESE, of ADAMS, REHMANN AND HEGGAN was unanimously appointed as ENGINEER for the HAMMONONTON PLANNING BOARD for a term of one year, 2015. Mr. Vettese thanked the board.

PLANNER AND TRAFFIC ENGINEER

Mr. Hozik made a motion to nominate Kevin Dixon as board planner and traffic engineer for the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. Messina seconded the motion. Mr. Pherribo made a motion to close nominations and Mr. Messina seconded the motion. KEVIN DIXON of DIXON ASSOCIATES was unanimously appointed PLANNER AND TRAFFIC ENGINEER for a term of one year, 2015. Mr. Dixon thanked the board.

SECRETARY

Mr. Hozik made a motion to nominate Patricia Berenato as secretary for the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. Pherribo seconded the motion. Mr. Pherribo made a motion to close nominations and Mr. Messina seconded the motion. PATRICIA BERENATO was unanimously appointed as SECRETARY to the HAMMONTON PLANNING BOARD for a term of one year, 2015. Mrs. Berenato thanked the board.

At this time, Chairman Marinelli asked the board secretary for the Official Roll Call.

ADOPTION OF MEETING MINUTES

Mr. Pherribo made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of November 5, 2014 and December 17, 2014 as received. Mr. Messina seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT

Mr. Pherribo made a motion to adjourn this meeting of the Hammonton Planning Board. Mr. Messina seconded the motion. All board members agreed.
