Snohomish Lacrosse Club

Attendees: Todd Martin, Rob Vanderwall, Sandy Weyrauch, Brandy Sawyer, Casey Davis, Kapena Wong, Rob Nichols

Meetings will be held at the 2nd Thursday of every month at the SHS library

Treasurer and/or Bookkeeper Position

Need 2 job descriptions, one for bookkeeper and 1 for treasurer.

Bookkeeper: day to day responsibility, transactions, QuickBooks, monthly financial reports. Estimated 2 hours per week for 6 months and 10 hours per week for 6 months. At $25/hr. estimate.

Treasurer: Monthly review of books, reviews and signs all checks, interact with all board members and assign duties to bookkeeper as needed.

The current president, Todd Martin and the current secretary, Casey (Katherine) Davis will be added to the bank accounts. Wayne Burns, Laura Deiner and Nathan Lawless will be removed. Motion: Sandy W. 2nd Rob V. Approved by voice vote

Off-season Events

An event form will be created and distributed to all coaches and booster boards. A new policy will be in place which requires all events to have a form submitted prior to events commencement. It will be completed by the sponsoring group and turned into the board prior to the planning stage of the event.

Motion: All events will now require an event form to be completed prior to the event occurring. Motion: Todd M, 2nd Rob V. Voice vote approval.

Registrar

Numbers are currently low at all levels except the 7-8 boys.

Coaching Applications

Casey will provide the coaching application to Kapena. He will send it out to the club with dates for submission. All coaches, including current ones, are required to complete the application.

FYI: Game scheduling form due 11/15

Request to move Lake Stevens to Everett Lacrosse was deny by our club as it would be detrimental to our program and we are closer to most players.

Equipment

Lacrosse Ball Order: Breakaway Sports quotation @ $185 per case

Trailer for Goal Moving: Best option: 6.5’ x 12’ at Olympia Trailer, $1,399. This is within the already approved budget. Todd will make purchase.

Goals: Request for 24 new goals. Number will be determined based on budget after registration is complete.

Turf Fields Status

All turf fields complete except Glacier Peak practice turf

Coaches meeting in November to discuss fields with Mark Albertine.Including Lacrosse field line, Portable Lighting (prior to DST)
