II.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES from September 21, 2009

MOTION AND SECOND to approve minutes from September 21, 2009: B. Gay, F. Phillips. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

III.  OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS

Approval of Financials

MOTION AND SECOND to approve financial report: T. Steinkamp, B. Gay. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Attorney Report/Investigative Report- A. Dow

MOTION AND SECOND to exempt signs and business cards from the advertising requirement of displaying the licensee number so long as the contact information is present since these are not considered ads: R. Burns, G. Bordelon. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

MOTION AND SECOND to accept attorney/investigative report: T. Steinkamp, B. Gay. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Absolute Auction

MOTION AND SECOND to add the definition of absolute auction to our regulations to state ‘Absolute auction- changes ownership regardless of price’: R. Burns, B. Gay. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Age Exempt Renewals

MOTION AND SECOND to charge administrative fee of $50.00 for Louisiana residents who are 65 or older to renew their annual license if they have been licensed for more than 5 years continuously: B. Gay, G. Bordelon. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Request for refund of licensing fees:

1.  David D’Amico

MOTION AND SECOND to approve refund request of application fees for David D’Amico: B. Gay, T. Steinkamp. MOTION PASSED with G. Bordelon and F. Phillips in opposition.

Reciprocal license application to Pennsylvania denied for J. Kramer

MOTION AND SECOND to investigate to see if the application was filed legally. If not, suspend license following appropriate procedures pending hearing: B. Gay, G. Bordelon. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
