Sales agreement for Pet Quality puppies
1. PUPPY INFORMATION
On , Louann Currey, Blu Majic Poodles, agrees to sell the below described Standard Poodle Puppy to , for the total sum of $2,000.00 cash (US currency). Within this document, Ms. Currey will be known as the “Seller” and will be known as the “Buyer”.

2. REGISTRATION
The Seller guarantees this dog is registerable under the provisions of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC). Owner is required to register this dog with the AKC and is required to register the microchip number. Blu Majic’s shall be included in the registered name.
3. GUARANTEE OF QUALITY
It is understood that at the time of sale, this puppy is not considered to be of show (conformation) quality, and therefore is sold on a limited registration. This puppy is to be spayed or neutered by 2 yrs of age, but not until the growth plates have closed, unless medically necessary. Neutering prior to growth plate closure will void the health warranty for any orthopedic issues. This puppy is suitable for performance competition and a reward of $100 will be paid for the first AKC or UKC competition level title.
4. HEALTH GUARANTEE
a. Acute Illness or Defect
This dog is guaranteed to be free from acute health defects, illness, or temperament irregularities for forty-eight (48) hours after the sale (72 hours, or first possible available date for holidays/weekends). Within this interval, the buyer is to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. If a temperament problem or health deficiency is noted and the Buyer returns the puppy within seventy two (72) hours after the sale, the Buyer is eligible for a full refund.

b. Immunizations
This puppy is to be immunized with a minimum of 2 puppy vaccinations. The breeder will give the first one at 8 weeks of age and the 2nd will be due between 14 and 16 weeks of age. After that, no further immunizations are recommended, unless a titer level does not show any immune response. Rabies vaccination is to be given at no younger than 6 months of age and is to be given as a solo vaccination, meaning not in combination with any other vaccinations or if the dog is ill in any way. Rabies vaccination is to be given no more often than every 3-5 years unless indicated by titer level. Over vaccination of the poodle breed has been shown to be a probable cause of several health issues including AIHA and may, in fact, be fatal. Over vaccination will void the health warranty. Despite the decreased requirement for vaccinations, this dog is to be routinely examined by a licensed Veterinarian at least one time per year for a well check physical exam. A well check every 6 months is ideal.
5. RETURN/REFUND POLICY
Should the Buyer decide within a 2 week (14 day) period after taking possession that the puppy is not suitable to their lifestyle for any reason, a full refund will be given upon return of the puppy.
(1) Buyer Returns the Dog, Non-medically Related - Should the Buyer desire to return the dog, the dog will subsequently be placed in another home (if possible) and the Buyer is due the resale price, if any, less costs in shipping, advertising, and placement.
(2) Buyer Returns the Dog, Medically Related - For health issues during the dog’s life. The Buyer is entitled to refund of $500 upon return of the dog. Return is requested to ensure the dog is not euthanized upon diagnosis unless deemed medically necessary by my veterinarian. A replacement puppy will be offered from a subsequent litter for a reduced amount.
All refunds are to be paid from the proceeds from the next litter produced. The Seller also reserves the right to substitute monetary payment in place of a puppy, or a puppy for monetary payment.
6. ABANDONMENT
The Buyer may not place the dog into the custody of the Humane Society, or other pet abandonment organization. Should the Buyer wish to relieve himself or herself of the responsibility of the dog, they MUST return the dog to the Seller, regardless of the age of the dog.

7. NOTIFICATIONS
The Buyer must notify the Seller in the event of any change of status in the dog's health, or residence. Notification must be in writing. Email is acceptable. Also, to continue toward further refinement in the Blu Majic bloodline, the Buyer is asked to send notification of any of the following:
a. Health conditions that originate from a genetic or congenital nature.
b. Illnesses or diseases of a chronic nature, regardless of origin.
c. Results from regular health testing (CERF, OFA, Sebaceous Adenitis biopsy, VWD, etc.)
8. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
No other guarantee or warranty is either implied or given, except as stated herein.
