Bismihi Ta`ala

"Allah will bring a people whom He loveth and who love Him, humble toward believers, stern toward disbelievers, striving in

the way of Allah, and fearing not the blame of any blamer." (Al-Qur'an, Surat al-Maidah, Verse 54)

From the tradition of the heavenly ascension of the Prophet:

...I saw an Angel whose physique was very interesting. One half of the body of this Angel was fire, and the other half of it

was ice. Even stranger than this was the fact that neither the heat of the fire made the ice turn to water nor did the

coldness of the ice put out the flames. With a very quiet voice he said, "I praise the One who is sufficent (to praise) such

that the heat of this fire does not melt the ice, nor does the cold of the ice put out the fire. O' Allah! O' the One who has

placed such a thing between the fire and ice! You (too) place agreement and love between the hearts of Your servants!"

Family Programs: Ramadhan 1423

The month of Ramadhan, along with being a month of devotion and becoming closer to Allah (swt), is a perfect opportunity to unite the community, strengthen bonds of friendship, and instill the love of our community in the hearts of young and old. Towards this end, the community will be organizing the following Family programs during Friday and Saturday nights of the month of Ramadhan.

General Information
- All family events will be held after the main program is complete and will begin at approximately 8:30 pm.

- Though the programs are meant to be fun, all participants should take care to maintain proper Islamic respect towards each other and particularly towards members of the opposite sex. Observance of proper hijab is required.

- Unless age requirements are specified, everyone is welcome to attend! Spectators who don't feel comfortable participating in all the events are also welcome.

- We are in need of volunteers for these events. If you're interested in helping out, please contact Sayyid Abidi at ...
