Bishop Thomas Dabre celebrating heretic Martin Luther

Thomas Dabre is the Bishop of Poona and former Chairman of the Doctrinal Commission of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI)!
On August 11, 2017, he is scheduled to deliver the inaugural address at a seminar on the Reformation(the rebellion against Rome, the Pope, and the Church and all her teachings) launched by the German ex-priest andheretic Martin Luther in 1517.
In doing so, Bishop Dabre endorses all the heresies -- especially the rejection of the Eucharist as the Real Presence (“the Source and Summit of Life”) -- that Luther promoted, and the rise of 40,000 denominations none of which agrees with any of the others or with Catholicism (which is why they are “Protestant”) because of Luther’s heretical doctrine of Sola Scriptura (among other heretical doctrines like Sola Fide).
This spirit of false ecumenism -- which is being promoted most regrettably by Pope Francis -- denies the unique position of the Catholic Church among the denominations and concedes to them an equal if not superior status.
What are the clergy and the laity (especially of the sycophantic Catholic Charismatic Renewal) of the Diocese of Pune doing about the leading role played by Bishop Dabre in this programme along with a bunch of protestant heretics?
Below is a letter written by a lay man to Bishop Dabre (please note that I do not agree with some of the views expressed by the writer but I do appreciate the central thrust of it):

Your Lordship,
I am appalled by the fact that you have taken the initiative to organize a seminar on Martin Luther onAugust 11, 2017 on the 500th anniversary of his rebellion against the Catholic Church and the Pope. I cannot understand what purpose it will serve to discuss an apostate, hereticand one who has led millions of souls astray. As I note from the speaking schedule there arevarious protestants participating in this event. However, I doubt there will be a dissenting view presented at the seminar which will include portraying the wrongs that he perpetrated, the disgusting and insulting pronouncements he made about the Bible, the Catholic Liturgy, the Vicar of Christ and the Magisterium, when he chose to defy of the Catholic Church.
The fruits of this apostasy are visible in the fact that at the present time there are over 20,000 sects each interpreting the Bible in its own way. Whereas the truth has always been in the teaching of the Catholic Church, and it has been guaranteed by the words of Jesus in Mat16:19: “And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven.”
The only reason for conducting such a seminar, I presume, is because the Church you preside over, no longer possesses the 4 Characteristics of the true Catholic Church, but is very Protestantish. You are very well aware that six Protestant Ministers of various denominations, invited by Paul VI to Vatican II, collaborated with Annabale Bugnini [who said: “We must strip down from our Catholic Prayers and from Catholic Liturgy everything which can be a shadow of a stumbling block for our separated brethren” – that is for the Protestants – in an interview to L’Osservatore Romano, March 19, 1965. Was this not his mission as freemason (“Buan”) [to wreck the Catholic Church from within?] and changed the Mass into the current format/s celebrated in all the churches by ‘half-baked priests” and ‘as they like’.
You have chosen not to respond and to defend the faith when I asserted the fact that TRANSUBSTATIATIONDOES NOT take place in the Novus Ordo Missae, as it has been reduced to a ‘meal’ spiritually. Ask the laity who attend Mass and this is the response you will get from most. The SACRIFICIAL ELEMENT has totally been eliminated. This is also confirmed by the Ottaviani Intervention in his critical appraisal of the Novus Ordo. In other words, the Mass (Refer Canon II) has been reduced to the Protestant version of the communion servicethey celebrate (as per the Anglican Book of Common Prayer of Cranmer).“Take away the popish Mass and you will have destroyed the Catholic Church and the pope”, quipped Luther. Has not this been achieved with the help of freemasons within and outside the church?
Why is it that you refuse to reinstate (and encourage) the Tridentine Mass in the Diocese of Pune***. Its use has been authorized by the Motu Proprio of Pope Benedict in 2007. I assume the real reason is that the people will discern theactual difference between the two rites of the Mass [the holiness of the former (as a sacrifice of Christ) and the hollowness of the latter (as a community celebrating a meal with bread and spiritual drink)]. They will then demand the reintroduction of the true sacraments and they will find the way to heaven, which you do not want to happen.
Acts 5:29 “We ought to obey God rather than men”. The Tridentine Mass has been inspired by the Holy Spirit,and organically developed over the centuries by saints and it has produced an array of Saints such St. Augustine, St. Anthony, St. Thomas Aquinas, St Thomas Moore, St Padre Pio. How can the Holy Spirit inspire a mass where the priest offers a sacrifice to the heavenly Father, with his Back to the Tabernacle. This Mass is clearly the work of human hands and the results are there for you to see since its introduction in 1969, specially the lack of reverence to the Blessed Sacrament. But why should this bother you, since you do not seem to care whether the people under your pastoral care are goes to hell or heaven!You seem to care more for(false) ecumenism as a popularity stunt rather than salvation of souls.
I earnestly urge you, to get back to the doctrines which were proclaimed at the Council of Trent, called in response to the Protestant revolution and not ‘reformation’ (which I call a rebellion) engineered by Martin Luther in Europe and followed up by Cranmer and Co in England.
It is only when the Kingship of Christ is honored by the Worship due to him, in the Tridentine Mass, will we begin to see a resurgence in faith which will lead to his kingdom here on earth.
Your response is awaited. Kindly let me know if meeting with you personally will help resolve this matter sooner.

If you have your view on present day ecumenism, I would not in principle quarrel with that.
However I am saddened and disappointed by your statement that the spirit of false ecumenism is being promoted, most regrettably by Pope Francis.
On the one hand, you want to criticize Martin Luther, because of his rebellion against Rome and the Pope. But on the other hand you can muster courage to write like this.
Pope Francis is the most merciful Supreme Pastor. It is our Catholic ethos to be respectful of the Holy Father.

Dear Bishop Thomas Dabre,
I wrote to you on August 10. I was nowhere near a computer or the Internet from the 13th to the 19th of August. Therefore I could not have written to you -- as per your acknowledgement -- on the 19th.
I firmly stand by my views and my statements and reports on Pope Francis. Please see the file attached with my list of (almost 150) reports on the erroneous and condemnable sayings and doings of our present Pontiff.
Every single lay or priest conservative Catholic writer/ministry/web site/blog in the world shares my views on Pope Francis. Some of these sites are OnePeterFive (Steve Skojec), ChurchMilitant (Michael Voris), Sandro Magister (Settimo Cielo/Chiesa Espresso), Roberto de Mattei, LifeSiteNews, Fr. John Zuhlsdorf... to name just a few. However, I have arrived at my conclusions uninfluenced by any of them. In fact I was one of the very first in the Catholic world to write to Pope Francis (in English and in Spanish) requesting him not to wash the feet of women on Maundy Thursday 2013, maybe a couple of weeks after his accession. You may be surprised to know how many Indian Catholic priests and lay persons in ministry unreservedly share my view of this Pope. Some of them are theologians and professors in seminaries!
Popes can be heretics too, you know. The case of Pope Honorius is the clearest example of papal heresy. I do not have to accept anything from Pope Francis that is not ex-Cathedra and non-dogmatic, especially when it lacks the "hermeneutics of continuity" with Catholic tradition. And especially also when it goes against Catholic Church history. Luther was excommunicated from the Church. Pope Francis has now "canonized" him! I have written and compiled so much on that - that it is pointless for me to restate myself here.
When Holy Mother Church (NOT Pope Francis) lifts the excommunication imposed on the heretic and apostate Martin Luther (I am confident that She NEVER will), I will be obliged to agree with Her. Lutherans and other Protestants do not share our Bible (OUR Bible!) or our creed, or our moral laws which Pope Francis is already in the process of destroying. The only ecumenism that we can have with them is to politely witness that the Fullness of Faith is in the Catholic Faith and that they return to the Church "lest they die of wretchedness and hunger" ["Be Thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions, or whom discord keeps aloof, and call them back to the harbor of truth and unity of faith, so that there may be but one flock and one Shepherd"] as the First Friday Consecration Prayer says. The kind of ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue that your good self and others promote is patently false.
Writing in disagreement with or condemnation of a Pope is not un-Catholic or heretical. In case we have forgotten, let us remember just one prophetess, St. Catherine of Siena. Maybe we also believe that the Church does not turn out prophets in today's world. I however, in all humility, see not a few around me, and consider myself asone of them. If I ever met Pope Francis, I would tell him to his face what I feel about him and his disastrous Pontificate. I would not be a sycophant like most other Catholics are in his presence.
I have also written/compiled enough about the so-called mercy of Pope Francis. I would hate to be in his shoes before the Judgement Seat of God. In addition to our own souls, we are responsible for the souls of all those over whom God has placed us in authority. And "the Supreme Pastor" as you call him, who oversees over a billion Catholic souls, will have a much, much tougher time than I, and so will many Cardinals and Bishops and priests!
Despite my almost daily criticism of Pope Francis on my web site, I have NEVER been disrespectful of him. Speaking the truth is no disrespect. And finally, every night after the Family Rosary, the VERY FIRST intention, even before we remember our family members with terminal illness or the Holy Souls, is our prayer for the Holy Father. We also are obliged to pray very regularly for his "intentions" (some of which like on inter-religious dialogue and ecumenism we strongly oppose) for the obtaining of Plenary Indulgences.
