About BioinformaticsGraduate/Research Assistantships
Only full-time students are eligible for assistantship awards. Awards are limited and are determined on a competitive basis. Acceptance to the Bioinformatics Program does not guarantee a Graduate Assistantship (GA).Students are encouraged to get in touch with potential mentors before applying to the program and to get information about potential research projects. A student receiving aGA is expected to conduct research in addition to taking coursework. We do not have teaching assistantships.
