The scholarship will be awarded based on academic achievement, participation in social sciences, student government/student council or other extracurricular activities. The character and citizenship of the applicant will be considered more than class ranking. The award will be reimbursed to the student upon receipt or proof of acceptance and enrollment. The funds may be used for tuition or books. One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded, and the winner announced at the awards ceremony in May.

1.  A self-evaluation essay of 500 words or less describing your college plans, career goals, personal influences and reasons that I should consider you for the scholarship.

2.  Two letters of recommendation: one from a teacher you have had in high school and one from a personal reference such as an employer or member of the clergy.

3.  Copy of high school transcript.

4.  History of extracurricular endeavors, community involvement and other personal accomplishments.
