Coach
General Duties
1. Assist Program Director, Behavior Analyst, Clinical Director in conjunction with the parents/guardians and educators in formulating and monitoring effective behavioral and instructional programming.
2. Coach participants in the delivering and monitoring of programming.
3. Coach participants through CLM Units
· Conduct performance checkouts
· Motivate participants to apply what they have learned
· Provide assistance and constructive feedback
· Assist in solving problems in participant’s learning environments within the scope of tasks contained within the CLM Course of Study
· Work directly with students implementing programming when necessary so educators are available to work on units.
4. Maintain rapport with parents/guardians, educators, administrators & colleagues.
5. Meet with staff providing services on a regular basis.
6. Be flexible with schedule and daily routine.
7. Collect data and monitor data collection utilizing the appropriate forms.
8. Be willing to learn, follow directions and compliance with policies and guidelines of Tucci Learning Solutions, Inc and the California Dept of Education and Department of Developmental Services.
9. Able to handle general duties applicable to Behavior Specialist II.
10. Assist educators and parents in preparation of behavioral programming that will promote the development of targeted competencies.
11. Coordinate or assist in the creation and organization of new materials.
12. Assist in analyzing ongoing behavioral and program data.
13. Communicate aspects of Program Plans with parents/guardians, educators, administrators and colleagues.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrated mastery of CLM Units 1-10, Fluency Units 210-230 Coaching Unit 100.
2. 2 years experience working with developmentally disabled children in home and school learning environments.
3. Knowledge of behavioral techniques or other treatment methods used.
4. Ability to work within a team.
