With reference to the advertisement published in the Anandabazar Patrika dated 15th June, 2009, sealed tenders are invited from the bonafide owners of the Buses for hiring of 7 (seven) nos. of Buses (Dry) on monthly hire basis for a period of 1 (one) year (likely to be continued on satisfactory services) on and from 1st August, 2009 for transportation from Kalyani/Kanchrapara to Mohanpur Campus of the Viswavidyalaya and back on all working days and for educational & other tours at distant places on holidays/weekdays as and when required.
Buses must be made on or after 2001 and should be capable to undertake long journey in and around the State as and when necessary. Buses should must have double doors & comfortable sitting arrangement of 55+1seats (3-2, Not push back). Buses should be uniformly coloured after selection of it by the Viswavidyalaya authority, cost of which shall be born by the Owner of the Buses. Driver of the Buses should have at least 5 years experience in Bus driving & should possess heavy driving licence. The Cleaners of the Buses will have to check the coupons / identity cards of the passengers regularly. The owner of the Buses shall be responsible to pay the wages to both the drivers and cleaners and to meet the maintenance cost of the Bus in regular manner for smooth running. Viswavidyalaya will provide fuel on kilometre basis as approved by RTA, Nadia and mobile oil ordinarily 20 lits. per 2500 k.m. of run, excepting Break oil and Gear Oil.
Tender forms may be purchased either personally from the Office of the Asstt.Registrar-II, BCKV, Mohanpur, Dt.Nadia, between 11.00 A.M. and 4.00 P.M. on all working days except SUNDAYS, SATURDAYS and HOLIDAYS on payment of Rs. 500=00 in cash (non-refundable) or can be downloaded from the Viswavidyalaya website (www.bckv.edu.in) in a white paper (A-4 size 8½''x11''; thickness- 85 gsm). In that case the cost of Tender forms are payable through Crossed Demand Draft payable to BIDHAN CHANDRA KRISHI VISWAVIDYALAYA at S.B.I, Kalyani Branch, Code-1082, Kalyani,Nadia/ U.B.I. BCKV Branch, which also require to be attached an earnest money of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees three thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft payable to B.C.K.V. without which Tender form shall be treated as cancelled. The earnest money will be refunded to the parties who shall not be selected after the process is over and for successful parties it will be retained till the period of agreement is completed.
Complete Tender papers in sealed cover in all respect is to be dropped in the Tender Box of the Office of the undersigned at Mohanpur, Dist. Nadia within 3 P.M. of 14th July, 2009, which shall be opened on the same day at 4 P.M.
The Bus shall have to be placed along with original papers for verification/ inspection/trial in front of the Administrative Building, BCKV at Mohanpur, Nadia on 20.07.09 at 12.30 p.m. The University reserves the right to cancel/reject, all or any of the tenders, orders without assigning any reason whatsoever. The decision of the University shall be final in all cases of dispute.
